I think you misunderstand what the mohel is proposing. I have seen this done several times. The mohel is still involved -- he checks the baby before, sets him up, puts on the shield and prepares everything. The only thing the father does is cut off the foreskin, which is the fulfillment of the commandment itself, not just the preparation. And even then, the mohel is there if the father gets nervous.

Interesting. How do you do that, to decide how his penis will be like only for the first years? Do you give him his foreskin back, when he is grown up? Maybe this would be of great use for those men who try to restore their foreskin. Please share your medical knowledge with us.
