It would appear that there is no shortage of womb owners who do not have a problem renting it out, for the right price. Short-term lease only, of course -- nine months.

Hopefully this will soon be followed by full rights for gay couples including civil marriage and adoption rights. I am gay and married with two kids. Our kids (3 and 7) were adopted, and we form a happy family here in Canada where we enjoy the same rights as any other family. I love my kids and I couldn't imagine now being without them! It's good to see that Israel is evolving towards equal rights for all.
4. Just a thought ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.11.13)
There are so many children who have been removed from their homes and whose parents have had their parental rights terminated. They are already alive, and are desperate for loving parents and a good home. Why not consider adopting them? These children come free and clear, without strings attached. A surrogacy contract is not binding should the birth mother change her mind and choose not to give up the child she carried. She can also demand visitation rights and legal status as the child's mother -- giving her a say in the child's upbringing. Surrogacy abroad is one thing -- it's very different in Israel, where the birth mother does have legal recourse and a fair number of rights. Instead of indulging egos, same sex male parents -- obviously, unless both are infertile or incapable of carrying pregnancy to term, female same-sex unions do not need surrogates -- should give some thought to the needs of children who have already been born, and are in need of a home.

And what about orphan kids or abandoned kids? is it also theft to adopt them? Read Sarah's comment in #4, maybe you will learn something. It's hard to believe that people like you exist!
