degrees inside the house (where I stayed from Wed to Sunday). We also were not warm enough, but not because of power outage, but because we do not put electrical heater on unless to watch TV. Also (and this is a biggie) I take a shower once a week lately. Big deal. Really, it is time people started realizing that there is no control over natural disasters and clean up (trees, electricity) takes time, as in other countries.

PM earns less than the Teva CEO. 100 times responsibility and you all complain, slander him, lash him with your complaints. What do you want him to do. Put an umbrella over your roof.
33.  Bibi obviously relied on G-D.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (12.16.13)
since he did not take on time measures for the foreseen snow storm. Help your self and G-d will help you.
34. You are right #23
JGedalov ,   Jerusalem Israel   (12.16.13)
it is about politics! Because he cant be just a Prime Minister with trained responses for his gabinet, he is suppose to have a well developed empathy. We the citizens are not asking from him to use his skills in making decorative figures from snow!!! If it wasnt about politics, now it is about politics :-) i really hope next time that snows in Jerusalem whoever will be the PM of Israel, shows an exceptional control of the situation. Cheers

What are the appropriate measures Bibi should have taken for the storm? This storm was the worst in 50 years and because don't get this kind of weather in Israel unlike colder countries we don't have plans or sufficient equipment to deal with these RARE NATURAL DISASTERS Its also not the job of the PM to take precautions, if it was possible for any precautions to be taken it was the responsibility of the local municipality not the PM who cannot organise every fine detail. What is the responsibility of the PM is to order the IDF on the scene to help with the cleanup which they started to do quickly

to defend him. He will always find bashers whatever he does. The teams who helped know by now what could have be done in advance. They should write it down for next time.I am also thinking of war situations.Citizens should be told what they need to keep home, food cans ,candles not alcoholic drinks and so on... Your comments are one of the best on Ynet.

38. BIBI ISRAEL PM
Nicki Joury ,   NYC. USA   (12.17.13)
Mr NETANYAHU IS IN TOUCH. There never ever a PM that loves ISRAEL as much as he does. VERY SAD THE LEFT WING IN THE USA INTICING THE ISRAELIS IN ISRAEL. Mr NETANYAHU & MR OBAMA DO MOT SEE EYE TO EYE. & not just in regards to ISRAEL. Israel is the one and only ally we have in that region . MR OBAMA TREATS PM NETANYAHU WITH DISRESPECT. By doing so HE UNDERLINED HIS DISRESPECT TO ISRAEL. Israelis inside Israel are not aware if all the aspects. AS WE SEE & READ IT INSIDE THE USA. ONE MIGHT WONDER WHY ISRAELI MEDIA DOES REPORTS AN ENTIRE PROOF JUST "Some". USA NEEDS STRING ISRAEL. You go BIBI VIVA LE BIBI THANK YOU
39. Blaming Bibi? Really?
Ariella ,   Jerusalem   (12.17.13)
Having been stuck without water or electricity for 3 days with children to feed and rooms to keep warm I sympathise. But not once did it cross my mind to blame anyone. With the storm coming we planned accordingly with gas heaters, a hot plate on the stove and flashlights, water and candles which we always have in our safe room. (Recommended by the Home Guard) Despite this we were still freezing but Scrabble, Monopoly and good company brought all the warmth we needed. Its our job to be role models to our children and make the best of a bad situation, not teach them how to complain and pass the buck. Man up and take care of your family.

sense!......of course we knew and sensible folks prepared. We have a solid roof over our heads, warm blankets and with no other distractions, time for family chats. No competition with the U.S. weather and I think our emergency services and volunteers where fantastic. Where in the the U.S. or U.K. would the electricity board be out in that weather getting the electric back on ASAP. Kol Hakovod....and all the whiner and moaners, just be glad you are not a refugee in this weather, with no proper shelter, or food.
