I'm not saying accept every Tom, Dick and Harry who demands asylum-- each case should be judged on its own merits, and those who are simply avoiding conscription or searching for economic betterment do not deserve asylum under any circumstances. Even those not deserving asylum could be treated more humanely. She's technically right that once a second border is crossed, there's no obligation-- except the humanitarian one... what are you going to do-- repatriate them to the country they came from (usually Egypt) to get to Israel? Thank you for your reply. I have never had the pleasure of visiting Israel so there is as lot I don't know. I do hear about lots of crime stemming from these immigrants but to what extent It exists I don't know. I do know it's a problem however. Perhaps Sarah B's comment is overstated and perhaps not but I think she raises valid points. I'm not about to attack her for her opinion.
