In future the best thing is not to send email or telephone call, but to to arrange meeting and they should talk in private or send letter by courier. No phone call or email. Keep the spies OUT.

The US is the number one supporter of Israel. Israel has acted in ways that have strained that relationship. During the Falklands war, French Exocet missiles that were sold to Argentina by Israel, were fired at British ships. Those missiles were originally supplied to Israel by the taxpayers of the United States, to be used for Israels defense. Israel sold them to Argentina. This action endangered our ally Britain. Israel never notified the US that Jonathan Pollard was leaking classified information. These actions justify US intelligence gathering on Israeli officials.

Good question! And the fact that the spying does take place should wake you up and prove that the "insignificant nobody" is not so "insignificant" and is definitely not a "nobody"!!

Perhaps instead of using this to simply appear in the media, M Barak could use it to pressure the Obama adm to let free M Pollard.

it is high time for netanyahu to tell obama that he must significantly reduce the number of people at the ta embassy. obama and his people are not friends of israel. the very large number of personnel at the embassy, rivaling that of the huge country of china, proves this. many of them are there to spy on israel. obama had made it a priority to spy on israel and use any knowledge gleaned to undermine the jewish state.
