Gaza lacks the technology and the high-tech materials and propellant chemicals to design and build a 40-mile range rocket. Or anything even close to that. What they are firing are Iranian rockets that have been broken down into components that can be illegally smuggled by Egyptians across the demilitarized Sinai. There is no other way to obtain this material, they can't make any of it themselves. The proper pressure point is the US...nothing conceded to the PA unless the US lives up to its Israel-Egypt peace treaty obligations by leaning hard on Egypt to stop ALL smuggling into Sinai. Why follow US mediation of an Israel-PA peace deal if the US can not even enforce the last deal it mediated? Israel can not afford to let a demilitarized WB be as poorly demilitarized as the Sinai has been...it wasn't worth "every grain of sand". Better no deal at all. Land-for-peace, not land-for-nothing, which is what Israel got from the lying bigot Carter,and Obama is proving even worse.
