After Israel gives Palestinians a big whack because of ongoing terror there is usually quiet. Then the terrorists gradually crawl out of their holes and begin terror again. Israel usually responds for a too long period with a tit for tat response resulting in too many Israeli casualties. The lesson should have been learned by now. Tit for tat doesn't work. A big whack does. Why waste Israeli lives?

Tit for tat should work, but instead of bombing empty warehouses, indiscriminate rocket fire would give them a taste of their own medicine and they would come to their senses before long. Big whacks bring international uproar without lasting results. Riposting in kind will not create such uproar, yet bring the message that they would understand.

the muslims refuse to accept any jewish sovereignty in any part of the middle east. the attempt to impose a pax obama on the sovereign jewish state of israel will lead to endless bloody wars. obama has already destroyed several countries which have become playgrounds for jihadists. netanyahu must prevent the creation of an islamic terror state in what is called the west bank. one such terror state, in the territory of gaza, is more than enough.

...opportunity for peace. This is the latest act by their leaders and followers to ensure that an accommodation of peaceful coexistence between Arab and Jew, between the Muslim-Arab world and the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, is not achieved. Achieving such an accommodation would mean accepting Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people. But, the essence of the conflict has always been their categorical objection to Israel's very existence as the national home of the Jewish people, and the RIGHT of Jews to national self-determination and independence on ANY parcel of land of the Jewish people's ancestral homeland.

This is the reality of the world. If we don't acknowledge it, we will lose. Continue occupation and settlements will only lead us to disaster.
