I often listen to the news from Israel, and I can't help feeling amazed by those who find it difficult to understand why terrorists commit crimes without hesitation to the consequences after. I find the answer fairly simple, because the chances are in their favor that they will be released a short time after for political or political correctness reasons. It is advantageous to them because they win either way. They will go home a hero and maybe a financial reward for the crime they committed. I don't understand why your government can't seem to understand that releasing prisoners is not a deterrent. It's not only bad for public moral, and morally wrong, but it leads to continuous crimes the next often worse than the first. Perhaps politicians are so insulated within their bubble of affluence, they don't see or worse yet, care about the ordinary citizens who do most of the tax paying and most of the dying there.
