1. Airport theft

Nothing new here. It's gone on for years. I had some very expensive things taken out of my luggage 35 years ago. Didn't notice it until I got home. Others I know have similar stories. Happens in other airports also. It's up to the airports and the airlines to monitor their employees. What if this guy was planting some explosives?

This country has a major attitude problem. Far, far too many people have the attitude that if they don't think they'll get caught they should do it and that it is fine. Screw over or be screwed; it's not a recipe for a healthy country.

Whilst I am in no way condoning this man, why on earth would anyone leave valuables in their suitcases. How stupid is that. Common sense tells you to keep your wallets, credit cards etc with you in your hand luggage. Sometimes people are their own worst enemies.
7. airport robbers

IN Tunis Carthage airport (tunisia) my phone was stollen and in Roisy charles de gaule (Paris) El AL security man stoll from my luggage envelopp with money and laptop

I agree with you. Jews should change their mentality...
9. is he a Jew?
k ,   US   (12.31.13)
I highly doubt a Jew would do this, especially in Israel
10. stealing in the airport
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (12.31.13)
I'm not surprised by that. When you fly to Israel, your suitcases cannot be locked... for an ultimate check by El Al security? It's inviting to steal. I'm asking if this suitcases are really controlled by security people during their (whole) travel on the conveyer belt from the check-in desk to the plane or to the El Al check (control) room! I have my doubts about it.
11. #3 - don't generalize
keren ,   tzafon, Israel   (12.31.13)
Israeli cultural attitudes have problems, but dishonesty is not a result of that. In my 10 years in Israel people have gone out of their way to return my credit card (forgotten at restaurants) several times. One time my purse was stolen from the back of my chair at McDonalds in Ben Gurion. Sneaky thief because my chair was the only one in the airport not covered by the security cameras, neverthless, not very thorough because I got the purse back from security the next day - my employer's $1000 expense money was still in the wallet! My 26 argorot was still there too!
12. Just like TSA agents. Where do governments get these creeps?
Rivkah   (12.31.13)
What low-life garbage dump do these thieves crawl out of and who hires them? Do the people who hire them get a kickback from the sales of items stolen? TSA agents are so vile, the entire organization should be abolished to protect the public not from terrorists but from government TSA workers.
13. #9 How naive.. . my iphone was robbed in shuk hacarmel by a
Shatner   (12.31.13)
jewish thief. Israel, has every type of Jew out there, not the general middle class wealthy types you get in the west.
14. #9 I would have thought the same until I made aliyah.

PS/ How many Jews, due to security reasons does that airport allow so close to baggage?? think about it.
15. is he a jew?
kk ,   Madagascar   (01.03.14)
