4. What do you mean by a "Knight in Shtremel.".Only OBE
Alan ,   SA   (01.03.14)
An OBE is far far from a Knight In UK you can get Knighted for being a generous donor to one of the main Political Parties. Or for running or cycling fast. Or singing Pop tunes Or managing a football team. I wouldn't get excited. Someone in his community may have recommended the Rabbi for this OBE Don't forget Lady Ashton is a Baroness (I think) Its higher than a Dame
5. The British are looking to the Hareidim to pressure Israel.
Jerusalemite   (01.03.14)
I read an interesting article about how the British are trying to gain favor amongst the Hareidim in Israel to use them as a tool to push the phony peace agreement. Another example of Britain getting politically involved in internal Israeli policies, and trying to influence the outcomes.
6. Unholy union
Hammer   (01.03.14)
Both British monarchy and Haredim belong to the past and both are anti Zionist and anti Israel.

9. #3 SIR JIMMY SAVILE
CAPTAIN OBVIOUS ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (01.05.14)
It can reasonably and safely be assumed that Her Majesty The Queen somewhat regrets knighting that weird and perverted fellow Savile . It does not reflect well on her ,nor her judgement .
10. Re. Jimmy Saville
Claude ,   UK, CPT, France   (01.05.14)
The Queen has no say in those offered various honours except in the case of staff who have served in or for the Royal Household. All honours are recommended by the Govt, or recommended to the Govt by Charities Civil Servants, MoD etc and merely rubber stamped by the Monarch
