10. Ariel Sharon's military tactics are so great that
Rivkah   (01.04.14)
the US Military Academy at West Point will not teach them because the outcomes are so astonishing. That is because HaShem was in the battles, too, teaching Sharon's hand what to do just as HaShem led King David and taught David's arm to fight. Sharon took refuge in the shadow of the wings of HaShem. Often, I have been shown by HaShem the Sharons (father and both sons) standing in the cleft of the Rock of Elohim. When the Egyptians fled from Sharon and the IDF and left their weapons and tanks they said they did not flee from the IDF. They fled from Father Abraham and an army of angels. Like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Ariel Sharon lives near Beersheba. Considering the outcomes of his military tactics, there is no greater General on earth living or dead since antiquity. TALIT CUMI O MALEK OF ISRAEL! IN THE NAME OF YAHOSHUA SHELOMOH OF NAZARETH. ARISE AND SHINE AGAIN, ARIEL SHARON!
11. The bandage around Arik's head in the famous photos
Rivkah   (01.04.14)
is a symbol in Gesenius' Hebrew Lexicon of the golden band around the head of a king since the bandage symbolizes the healing of the nation and the crown of a king started out as a bandage around the head of the leader like the American Indians. Many times in the last eight years, I have been shown by HaShem that Ariel Sharon communes with Him even while in a medically induced coma from too much sedatives in my opinion. The Creator of the Universe goes into Ariel Sharon's hospital room at Chaim Sheba Medical Center with the universe like a swirling plate in His hand. Even the Lord comes to Arik to comfort him but for purposes unknown to me has not healed him. That is why I suspect Ariel Sharon has been a baphomet all these years since the stroke. He is kept from being what he could have and should have been, President of Israel. A baphomet is someone who is so powerful that he is ostracized and sedated or kept a prisoner to keep him from his destiny. The Israeli government could have changed the Gaza failure legacy IF they had paid the 10,000 Jews who were pulled out of Gaza for their losses. That also caused a drought to hit Israel and until those people are appeased, the drought will continue just as in the days of King David when the Gibeonites caused a drought because of the way King Saul treated them. Until the Gibeonites were appeased the drought continued.
12. Threw thousands of Jews from their homes so he wouldn't
Zev ,   Israel   (01.04.14)
go to jail.
13. his legacy will change as immediate memories fade
zionist forever   (01.04.14)
For now Sharons legacy will be Gaza but if he is judged by fairly by history its going to be his entire career that will be considered not Gaza. Up until Gaza was one of the most popular PMs here had been in years. Founder of Israels first special forces unit ( Unit 101 ) and one of the greatest generals the IDF ever had along with his actions in the Yom Kippur War especially Once champion of settlements and the man who destroyed Arafat. Sabra & Shetila and Gaza withdrawal. If judged fairly history will remember Sharon for both good and bad things although generally he was a patriot who got some things right and others wrong just like all of us do.
14. There was a photo of Ariel Sharon in the August 2006 New Yor
Rivkah   (01.04.14)
York Times supplement that I kept a copy of an have many copies because there was something astonishing about that photo of General Sharon in the late 1960's. There was a scar under the left eye that is the same as the scar under the left eye of the Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Yahoshua Shelomoh of Nazareth. How could they have the same J shaped scar under the same eye in the same location? Is it a genetic marker that was inherited or a scar from an affliction. The scar does not appear in later photos of Ariel Sharon so perhaps it was derm-abraded off. The height of Yahoshua Shelomoh is taller than Ariel Sharon, but the scar is the same shape in the same location on the face. Yahoshua Shelomoh was the son of Miriam and the Ruach Ha Kadosh. Miriam (Mary) had a twin brother who adopted Yahoshua after the death of Joseph the Carpenter which put Yahoshua Shelomoh in line for the Throne Seat of the Sanhedron that Joseph of Arimathea had. Yoshoshua Shelomoh said when He returns as the Lion of Judah, there would be people still living who were alive when He was on earth before. I believe the Wandering Jew, Joseph of Arimathea, may be Ariel Sharon. How could the facial features be so similar unless there is a close genetic link? You can see the face of Joseph of Arimathea many times in history as Johannas Guttenberg, Leonardo Da Vinci and others whose faces are the same if photographs are transposed. They fake their deaths and then pass through a gate of heaven in Jerusalem to become young again. Was a young Joseph of Arimathea given to Ariel Sharon's parents to raise? I have to wonder.
15. Sharon Temple Mount stunt cost world 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.04.14)
16. Sufficient to say that...
Jean-Pierre ,   Holon, Israel   (01.04.14)
the Arabs used to tremble when they heard his name. He gave pride and strength to Israel. May he go in peace without much suffering.
17. He is one of the greatest israeli of all time
(01.04.14)
His legacy is impressive, his story is incredible, his achievements as general are spectacular. Whether we like him or not, he will always stay as a legend. I personally didn't like him too much as a PM because of his political decisions he made but I have lots of respect for his stature and for his true patriotism. He is definitely a great israeli. Wish another Sharon will come in Israel's future to lead the nation.

anton ,   istanbul   (01.04.14)
"there is no greater General on earth living or dead since antiquity. " rather absurd ^, clearly you dont know atatürk "The centuries rarely produce a genius. Look at this bad luck of ours, that great genius of our era was granted to the Turkish nation" --D. Lloyd George, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and he didint ge any help from hashem, all the victories he has won ;)
19. Sharon and Rivkah
The Bald Scotsman ,   Tampa, USA   (01.04.14)
I do agree that Sharon was a great military hero. I am also just as positive Rivkah my dear (if that's your real name) that if General Sharon could speak he would tell you to take you and your Jesus and get out of his country. We the real Jews of the world want you to leave. Jesus was NOT the Messiah and Mary was NOT a virgin. So please take your false good and go preach to your goyishe friends.
20. LION-HEARTED ISRAELIS
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (01.04.14)
Sharon, Dayan, Meir: LION-HEARTED ISRAELIS who stood tall in the face of the grossest adversities; the diatribes, the prejudices slung at them from every "united nation..." G-d will shine His face upon them.
21. #12 no evidence
(01.04.14)
There was no evidence that Ariel Sharon was involved in any corruption. Edna Arbel only mentioned Omri and Gilad when announced she planned to press corruption charges. I think that Sharon was brave enough to face charges and go to jail himself. I think he just loved his sons too much.
22. His legacy will be one who was so deluded
Al   (01.04.14)
with his own sense of import that he subjected a million Israelis who live in the south to almost at will bombing from Gaza. His so called genius is worth crap to the 1000's of children who are growing up knowing that they must make their way to bomb shelters at a moments notice. Mr Sharon was an outrage, who should have stepped down when the steeping down was in his favor. Unfortunately his inflated ego got the better of him. Today we have 10k Jews who lost their homes of 30 years along with a million or so who are under the threat of constant bombardment from Gaza. SOME HERO... He was reckless delusional and certainly no leader worthy of any consideration. Let him pass into insignificance and lets look forward to real leadership.
23. #19 :-)
Beary White ,   Norway   (01.04.14)
Whatever to discusse!!! You all agree Sharon is one of the greatest Statesman in Israel' history.

zionist forever   (01.04.14)
What exactly did the Temple Mount visit have to do with 9/11, Afghanistan or Iraq? They were attacks on America and wars the American government decided to initiate. No terrorists ever claimed that Sharons visit to Temple Mount and there is no other evidence is was the resason for 9/11. To keep you happy lets even assume that 9/11 was because of Sharon how can you blame Afghanistan & Iraq on Sharon? It was your president that decided to initiate wars in Afghanistan & Iraq and if I remember rightly the American public were demanding action after 9/11, your the ones calling for war guys so take responsibility for your own actions.
25. #7 oops
(01.04.14)
You are behind the times, aren't you? Nowadays everyone knows that Sabra and Shatilla was Assad's. The Syrian intelligence agencies outsmarted the amateurs in Aman and Mossad, killing the Arabs and blaming Sharon. Assad's success was greater than he expected: the Lebanon war turned from Israel victory and removal of Syrian occupation forces to an Israeli defeat that perpetuated the Syrian (and now Iranian) occupation of Lebanon. In Israel Begin and Sharon lost power, allowing Rabin and Peres to seize government, eventually leading to the PLO defeat of Israel in Oslo.
26. #15 failure
(01.04.14)
You and the extreme Left blame Sharon's "Temple Mount stunt", but everyone who was there, and Arafat admitted, the Second Intifada was preplanned and started with riots at Atarot and the cowardly murder of IDF soldier Yossi Tabega z"l, before Sharon went to pray. As for 9/11, Bin Laden always said it was revenge for the American occupation of Saudi Arabia and nothing to do with Israel.
27. Gen. Sharon had real pride
CJK   (01.04.14)
there is no doubt that gen. sharon was a military genius and will be remembered as such. however, what is most distinctive about ariel sharon is his pride as a zionist, an israeli jew. never did sharon show the least fear or shame so manifest in the shtetl mentality of certain israeli leaders. he always demanded israel's rightful due and he always made his views known to the entire world.
28. The legacy of Israeli hero will shine, despite some mistakes
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.04.14)
Forget the scared creatures who never knew how to integrate with those around them, who were hated and beaten in isolation. The land of Israel, the nation of Israel, the modern country and its secular government, have all inspired Ariel Sharon to his great achievements: on the battlefields, in agriculture, in politics, and as a model of the shining Sabra. Ariel Sharon was the FIRST TRUE ISRAELI since the country was born in 1948, unencumbered by the miserable past of people from whom he derived. He made some mistakes, no doubt, but in as complicated a learning process as the one Ariel Sharon went through everybody makes mistakes.

You horrible little man. You live in Canada, you have 2 sons in the IDF, you have no right to pass judgement on Ariel Sharon. Learn to keep your big trap shut.
