The shameful and offensive words, mainly from radical Protestant talkbackers, about Pope Francis, have brought a lot of sadness to me. I ask you, Jewish brothers, to give him a chance. Past times were awful, my Church has recognized it at spades, but there will be a happy future through our union. We, true Christian Catholics, do know Judaism is our root, and our God is the same.
