31. Once they crossed to Egypt they were no longer refugees
Refugees in Egypt   (01.06.14)
a refugee can be a refugee in the closest country one escapes to, in this case Egypt. These people choose to continue into the dangerous Sinai area after being to Egypt and then look for job in Israel, they have no assylum seekers status.
32. Shame on you
Rut ,   Tel aviv   (01.06.14)
Shame on all the people in Israel spitting on african people!!! Its time that we start to care about other people than just us. We are all born to this world, we are all humans
33. My gut feeling says they want to go to America.
Charlie ,   DC   (01.06.14)
My refugees who were taken up by Germany years ago ended up in the USA. If you go to Virginia, you will run into many from Eritrea who will tell you stories about their past in Germany.
34. What did they do to their own countries? destroyed them.
(01.06.14)
Jews come to Israel to escape the harrasement they see in those countries from their these same people who are asking to be refugees in Israel. These people live in a country with people like themselves, same religion and same culture, and they will bring their culture to Israel. The culture they have has destroyed their own country. if they don't like the wars in their country, they should stay there, change their culture and stop those wars and fix their country. unfortunately they bring the same culture to their host countries. look at what is happening in many part of U.S and Europe where Jews live in fear of this same people who have emigrated to these countries. look at Jews in France who are leaving France from harrasment from these people. Israel should send them either back to their country or to Western countries because soon these thousands who are marching peacefully in the streets today, will perform the same kind of internal wars they did in their own lands, and willi try to force Jews out of Israel, as they are doing in other parts of the world. will Jews be allowed to move to these people's countries when they have peace and there are no wars? will they ever forget their racism and religious hatred of Jews? no. they will not allow any Jews in their own countries.
35. #6 They fled from war, did they?
Antalya here we come ,   Tel Aviv   (01.06.14)
And did I miss the invitation from you to allow a few hundred thousand in to your pretty resorts in Antalya? Look at what happened in Kenya - does nobody get it? Islamic migration is being paid for by the Saudis: infiltrate and get them from within. It's happening everywhere and we should learn from that.
36. We want freedom! Kick them out!
Denis ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.06.14)
What an amazing mob! Israel has more than enough serious issues - legal citizens have to fight for own survival. Just look at South Tel Aviv - and ask who is to blame for it's state! Kick out all those beggars, criminals and parasites. If they want to live and work here - let them go through the same standard procedures everyone else has to attend.
37. 32
jonathan ,   adelaide/Israel   (01.06.14)
Shame on you for being ignorant.
38. #34
(01.06.14)
Mate, you are mixing up lots of different things.
39. #32: Shame on you? Holot is a lusury hotel....
Israeli ,   My Country   (01.06.14)
You want to see people spat on, besides Jews in Europe, then go and look at the conditions in the UK which has the BIGGEST detention centers in the EU. Go and look at the way the illegals are treated in Italy and ask the Australian Prime Minister why asylum seekers are shipped on arrival to Papua New Guinea? I am sure that you haven't got these "refugees" or possible Al Qaeda agents camped outside your home! Because you can't earn a living in your country doesn't give you the right to find another country, enter it illegally and then try and get a handout. If these people are genuine refugees then they are the problem of the UN Refugee Agency!
40. ILLEGALS PROTEST IN TEL AVIV
STEVEN COLLINS ,   LONDON   (01.06.14)
What is happening to the state of Israel? Since when do law breakers (those entering the country illegally) have the right to protest conditions in your country? I really fear for your country for what it's turning into. I would no longer feel safe in Tel Aviv when visiting. It's becoming too much like the USA.
41. #22 Not so...
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (01.07.14)
Actually the wall is doing a splendid job. No illegals are coming across the border now. The 50,000 here came before the wall was built. Sadly Israel had to spend hundreds of millions of shekels to stop the flood of, not refugees, but people seeking work because their failed countries can't support them. Unlike WWII their entire group is not under the threat of extermination. I'm sorry Israel can't solve the failed world's problems. Actually, it is interesting. If Israel is the source of all the problems in the world, why do so many people (including Muslims) want to come here?
42. Illegal workers
Angela Milner ,   Israel   (01.07.14)
I blame the people who rent them apartments 4500 shekels Rechov Shapira two rooms I hope the owners are paying tax on their incomes
43. To #8 I remember ...
Jakob ,   Poleg, IL   (01.07.14)
A time, approximately 2-3 years ago when you used to DEFEND these people and scolded Israelis for detesting them. The articles are archives and your comments are still there if you need a reminder. I'm pleased to read that you have come to your senses.
