1. Good start. How about outlawing pornography altogether?
Jake ,   USA   (01.06.14)
Follow China, who aptly describes online pornography as "violating public morality and harming the physical and mental health of youth and young people."
2. #1, Without porn, I would trash my pc...
Hussein O. ,   Oval office   (01.06.14)
3. 1. While I'm not a fan of pornography...
(01.06.14)
whenever someone starts an argument with, "follow china..." I find myself rethinking my position.
4. great move
(01.06.14)
we all remember how a scummy ex boyfriend of Sarah Netanyahu published her private letters and escaped without jail. These type of people should be made to suffer,
5. good new law !
(01.06.14)
6. losers
Synchro ,   USA   (01.06.14)
I highly disagree with this. Imho, public has the right to know! All this will do is just create other means of revenge. Like the physical type.
7. But regular porn still okay?
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.06.14)
Right?
8. Why is prostitution legal if its on video tape?
Jake ,   USA   (01.07.14)
Israel should ban all pornography.
9. #1 Ban all porn?
David ,   Stockholm   (01.07.14)
You know, whatever the merits of doing that(and there are some merits but not enough, China has NOT been successful in their ban. Online porn is flowing in China. So much the case that when Japan/China had their mini-crisis last year, a Japanese porn star who is very popular managed to calm the waves by appealing to the Chinese male audience, who watch her movies in the hundreds of millions. Try again.
10. #3, so China is all-evil now?
Jake ,   USA   (01.07.14)
That's what you seem to be implying. I understand if you disagree with China on various issues, but that doesn't make them wrong in this regard. I give them credit for taking the lead on this important issue, and I believe Israel should follow their example.
11. #9, so we shouldnt pass any law that cant be fully enforced?
Jake ,   USA   (01.07.14)
Try again.
12. Maybe not...
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (01.07.14)
Do you remember Prohibition? That was a law that not only couldn't be enforced, it actually gave organized crime the chance to become real, genuine organized crime. How did that work out for the US? Remember the "Untouchables", who violated most of the existing amendments to the Constitution trying to clean up Chicago? How did that work out? Enacting laws you know in advance can't ever be fully enforced is just making a mockery of your Justice system.
13. #12, why have online piracy laws? Its impossible to stop.
Jake ,   USA   (01.07.14)
The laws are in place because its wrong to pirate software and music (etc). Likewise, its wrong to allow the online porn (read: prostitution) industry to thrive simply because its impossible to end it completely. Banning pornography will surely hurt & slow the industry, and that alone is a good reason to do it.
14. I strongly object...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A./Israel   (01.08.14)
