1. If not now Muslims will eventually become the enemy
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.07.14)
2. Complaining to the US
Ron ,   oc us   (01.07.14)
I wonder where the illegals learned that one? Does not matter, the illegals are economic refugees and will have to go ASAP.
3. (?) not an enemy (?) BUT not INVITED
moshe ,   Tivon, Israel   (01.07.14)
"Asylum" seekers: you are NOT the enemy... BUT you were NOT invited. you crossed the sea, crossed the boundaries of other countries, certainly Egypt's boundaries, secretly sneaked through Sinai into Israel. Israel NEVER invited you. You may be politically motivated but probably are here for economic reasons. Here in Israel we are under physical attack by those who want to annihilate us, yet you think that Israel has energy and the withal to absorb 10,000 or 50,000 or is it 100,000 strangers. NO, I'm sorry. moshe
4. READ MY LIPS : you are illegal migrants + have no rights .
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (01.07.14)
5. I really didn't notice much of a difference in Levinsky Park
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (01.07.14)
The only difference I saw today was there were a lot of Border Guards there. Makes me wonder what jobs they are going on strike from? I guess if the cell phone and bike thefts were down over the past 3 days, we'd know.
6. Enemy or friend - you still have to respect the law...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (01.07.14)
...in ANY country you're in, regardless of where you're from or why you are fleeing. If a sovereign state's law says that those who've entered the country illegaly should be deported, then end of discussion!!!!
7. Re #3
Andrew Brehm ,   Zurich   (01.07.14)
"you crossed the sea, crossed the boundaries of other countries, certainly Egypt's boundaries, secretly sneaked through Sinai into Israel." Oh, the irony...
8. Illegal Aliens......
NS ,   Long Island, NY   (01.07.14)
Every sovereign nation has a right to protect its borders from unwanted visitors. Israel is no exception. These so-called migrants crossed over two Muslim countries in order to get to Israel not for political asylum or "Zionism" but for a job. Send them home and tell them to reform their own homelands.
9. Asylum seekers
roxy ,   Israel   (01.07.14)
If they truly want to live here let them convert and join the army too, that way you can be sure they are not here just for economic reasons. Israel could always use more soldiers to defend itself against the Arabs that would destroy us.
10. Make friends! Not enemies
Esther ,   Norway   (01.07.14)
“Do I not destroy my enemies when I make them my friends?” Abraham Lincoln “Whenever you are confronted with an opponent. Conquer him with love.” Mahatma Gandhi I live abroad among exactly the same immigrants that are now demonstrating in Israel. Whenever I tell them I am Jewish and that my entire family lives in Israel, they almost hug me. They love Israel! And Jews. Some are Muslems, and most are Christians. There is no difference in their reaction when I say I'm Israeli. I personally know lots of Muslems, too, that love Israel. My wish is that Israel takes this historic chance to keep and make more friends! Defenders of Israel! People that, like some of my African friends, both Christian and Muslems, that take every opportunity to defend Israel when Israel's critics start to talk. The funny thing here in Norway is that it is often immigrants here that defend Israel. And among the strongest believers and supporters of Israel are Africans from the same countries that are demonstrating in Israel today. Make you friends stay your friends and make your enemies become your friends, is my advice.
11. Israel -Shetl village in the sky
kyle   (01.07.14)
Tevye the Jewish milkman. Lazerwolf the Jewish baker. No immigrants all pure Jews. The only non -Jews are the ones who build the houses and roads and then leave. Its a dream world. and a recipe for disaster in world growing smaller by the day. Wake up!
12. Not an enemy?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.07.14)
Not a friend, either -- friends would not disrupt Israeli civil life and friends would not threaten to further disrupt our lives. They say they mean us no harm, yet crime statistics prove that the contrary is true. It is simply not safe to walk about freely in certain parts of Tel Aviv, thanks to these "friendly" Africans. Elderly people and vulnerable people have been attacked, menaced, and worse. They are uninvited "guests" and they must leave. There are any number of refugee centers and displaced persons camps throughout Africa which are operated by the United Nations. They need to look to the U.N., not to the State of Israel. This may sound harsh, but I assure you that every country in the world has a similar exclusionary policy. But only Israeli policy is investigated under a microscope. There are many countries far better able to absorb illegal Africans -- why aren't they stepping up to shoulder the burden? All they seem to be doing is excoriating Israel when, in point of fact, their policies are far less tolerant! Typical hypocrisy on the part of the international community. They have no problem forcing something untenable upon Israel, to be sure, but wouldn't deign to even contemplate adopting a like policy in their countries.
13. Respect laws or leave !!
Don Rosenberg ,   Palatine USA   (01.07.14)
Israel has every right to ship these illegals back, period. They are illegal and should respect Israeli laws. Send them to the democratic muslims countries where they will be treated nicely???? Israel is more then fair to these people, and if they don't like it get out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14. They want us to host them?
Resident ,   Tel aviv   (01.07.14)
This is such a joke and not a funny one. Come to Salame street on Shabbat morning, everyone please come see what goes on. They hold weddings every weekend with rented Audis, Escalades and Mercedes, dressed in suits and with expensive camera equipment. Yeah, a refugee can afford those things. They are happy and smiling and if you say excuse me to pass they don't move and give you attitude when you ask a second time. Their kids have new strollers and you see cans if Similac, not the cheapest baby food on the market. I'm sick of them lying and pretending to be something that they are not. Why do regular people get punished for lying to the government and these get away with it????
15. To African infiltrators:
Elad ,   Kiryat Ono   (01.07.14)
I am an Israeli and yes, you ARE my enemy. You illegally infiltrated into my country and this makes you a criminal. This makes you my enemy. You run illegal businesses of selling stolen goods from Israelis. This makes you my enemy. According to our health department, you have brought diseases into this country and endangered our citizens. This make you my enemy. You demand a handout from my government to which I pay taxes and contribute then turn around and insult it. This makes you my enemy. You harass and intimidate Israeli women and my children are afraid to walk alone because if you. This makes you my enemy. I do not want you here, no matter how much you cry.
16. Appeal?
JL ,   Tel Aviv Israel   (01.07.14)
Interesting choice of words, Ynet. But, there is NOTHING appealing about illegal African infiltrators. In fact, I think they're rather putrid.
17. Yes they are, deport them all.
Avraham ,   Netivot area   (01.07.14)
They are all illegal & all trouble.
18. #9 - Serving in Is. army - I also thought of that BUT
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (01.07.14)
most of them are illiterate, Muslim and it would be very dangerous to put a weapon in their hands. Plus, their culture is so completely opposite than ours, it would be too much of an expense to train, educate, and excuse me, I for one, do not trust them.
19. Shame on you..#3
yakov ,   nahriya   (01.07.14)
Exactly what the fascist Moseley said about the Jews in Britain in the 1930's. "He who is without compassion.."
20. #7 Care to explain the point you're hinting at, Adolph?
A ,   Belgium   (01.07.14)
Oops, sorry...Andrew.
21. Dear migrants, this is how it works where>
HaifaGuy   (01.07.14)
>you come from: your governments brainwash you and tell you who to hate and who to love. It doesn't work this way here. By trying to drive a wedge between people and their majority -elected government, you will achieve the exact opposite - we will resent you. I am starting to. Where are your wives? Did you leave them at home, in the merciless claws of your brutal regimes? Or are they safely tucked in awating remittance?
22. These African folks have a real....
Gideon Reader   (01.07.14)
...NEED to make their "aliyah" in more friendly place with less friction. Hmmm? Howzabout Lichtenstein or the Isle of Weigt. Maybe even Monaco. Possibly they would be better, more warmly welcomed in Montenegro or even Holland or Belgium. They do not need to share their fate with a bunch of pesky JOOOOZ,
23. we love you too. now move to sweden.
ralph   (01.07.14)
24. Fixing the problem. Have Idea.
Kolboynik ,   Baltimore, MD   (01.07.14)
They want to be Israelis? OK, put them straight into the iDF . LOL Problem: They would take the rifles and point them at us. -- 2) The Government has to round them up and ship them out or back to Egypt. Wouldnt they feel better in a musim country?? 3) I think it could be a matter of time til shots are fired.
25. Israel doesnt need more criminals
Shira ,   NY Be'H Yerushalayim   (01.07.14)
Sorry. You can have asylum some where else. Israel doesn't need throw backs from a less than third world country invading and infiltrating. Sudanese/Africans who come in illegally have nothing good to bring into Israel only trouble. How brazen and rude to say the least that you invade and break into a country illegally and demand rights? Just for that you should all be deported. Palis are garbage enough to deal with not to mention Russians as well. Enough is enough.
26. I have the solution to the problem
Dov ben David ,   Eilat, Israel   (01.07.14)
Fine the Israeli restaurant owners and others a 100.000 shekels if they get cough with an illegal worker. They will disappear in no time from our towns...and in the long time from Israel. We must teach our children if we want to have a country, we must do EVERY WORK!
27. Can we do something?
Mila   (01.07.14)
Really what can we do to take this 'power' away from them in our own country? I wrote Gideon Sa'ar 5 emails already and will continue to write to him.
28. Problem solved.
Michael ,   Israel   (01.07.14)
The crux of the problem, the israelies who hire these illegals for their cheap labor, and the israelies who rent to them. Solution anyone who hires an illegal is fined 100,000 shekels for each infraction. Anyone who knowingly allows an illegal to reside in or on his property, forfeits that property to the state. In additiion the government gives each illegal 5000 shekels "road money" to leave. Problem solved. Do I have to solve all the problems of the state by myself?
29. To: No. 10
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.07.14)
I'm pleased to learn that you love them so much. We'll put them on the first plane to Oslo, okay?
30. To: No. 7
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.07.14)
We'd be more than happy to send them all to Switzerland, that bastion of decency, humanity, theft of Jewish bank accounts, purveyors in gold teeth, and jurisdiction of insurance companies that refuse to pay out on full paid-up whole life insurance policies purchased by desperate Jews in the 1930s. Ever notice that Schweiz rhymes with Scheiss? Oh, the irony!
