instead of kerry having to convince bibi, it is bibi who told likud that he is trying to convince bibi. of course kerry is doing what he has to do and frankly US is tired of the israel albatross even if israel disappeared under palestine which is what happens if herzog ever comes into government.
Bibi reminds me of shalit, a well intentionned man, a good boy, insecure, tenacious, a lousy soldier whose fear overcame him.
Bibi though fit and of good size is beset by fears and will sign a framework deal and bring it to cabinet. He is yellow to the bone in that he is unable to say OK, here is where we stand even alone, the gun stays with us and that's it. kerry, go home. he cannot say this cause he is yellow. Sanctions, shmanctions. The arabs respect strong israelis, not the weaklings of herzogn, peres, olmert(the worst and weakest israeli in the history of the state), livni.
and whatever deal israel signs will not stand up. herzog will run to kerry saying the arabs broke the peace treaty and kerry will say, work it out and don't bother mee.
That is what is going to happen.
One thing for sure. Arabs know what they want. jews are still sick from naziism and have raised generateation of spoiled weaklings like herzaogn. His father must be rolling over in his grave.
