1. His father's statement has no value..

Only his mother can be sure,

That statement was true more than 2000 years ago, today with modern science there isn't any reason to stick with the "mother thing". Mature yourself and your penguins and let's make it more proper and embrace kids who have only a Jewish father. Everyone would win.
3. Wording choice

Your use of the word "obsessed" is offensive. Being interested in Judaism and learning Hebrew is not a form of mental illness.

I get yehches when anyone, especially goyim, seriously studies Judaism, or begins to practice our traditions. Whether it is for the purpose of joining with us, or getting a better understanding of who we are, it is always a good thing. However, someone should have told him that tattoos are definitely not Jewish. That shaigitz Justin Bieber also has a Hebrew tattoo. Most definitely uncool.

I'm not fan of tattoos, and not just because Jews aren't supposed to have them. But stop and think what a revolution it is that people who aren't Jews want to wear Hebrew lettering on their bodies; my parents lived half their lives in a society steeped in anti-Semitism. Gentiles with names that could be mistaken for Jewish went out of their way to establish quickly that they weren't Jews -- even when no one was asking i9f they were. So this entertainer is interested in Judaism and might want to become one of us? Let's greet him with open arms!
