1. Do most obese children have obese parents?
Michael Redbourn ,   Lisbon Portugal   (01.10.14)
2. fat acceptance?
Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (01.10.14)
I guess the next trendy-leftist thing will be tooth-decay-acceptance. Hey, we wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feeeelinnnnnngs, would we?
3. explosion
Youseff Bey ,   USA   (01.10.14)
That plump chap does appear to have been chewing on a grenade!
4. Call a spade a spade
R. Brosilow ,   Rehovot, Israel   (01.10.14)
Oh, for heaven sakes: Why can't we call a fat kid 'fat'? Let him pressure his (probably) fat parents to get him to a physician to help him (and hopefully them) to lose weight?
5. Admission would be best
Dr Petrie ,   USA   (01.10.14)
If this little tyke would *face* up and admit he's been hanging around buffets too often, there might be help. Looks like a little blimp doesn't he.
6. Totally agree with the Doctor! Also overweight
Realist ,   The South   (01.10.14)
children tend to come from poorer backgrounds with less educated parents, which is why school projects, such as the health week they had in our area are the answer. Focusing on good healthy food to eat and excersice: these children are already victims, we should support them not stigmatize them further.
7. The delicious irony is:
Cualqueira ,   Los Angeles   (01.10.14)
Israel is a big contributor to Palestinian fitness. Between hopping around dodging canisters while throwing rocks and on a subsistence diet they should remain in pretty good shape. Actually, photos bear this out.
8. obese children
Marilyn ,   Usa   (01.11.14)
There are obese children out there. However, it's more though that we'd expect the parents to be fined first, before blaming the children. Eating habits come more from the parents who buy them the food. However kids can also take initiative and exercise and get out of the house more.
