1. Everyone is always most remembered by what they did LAST!!!!
Moshe ,   Israel   (01.13.14)
Sharon will be remembered as a selfish person who brought rockets and terror upon his own people and we got NOTHING in return for all his good intentions. Hope Bibi reads this too.
2. You are always remembered by what you did last..so true
Al   (01.13.14)
I suggest that you ask the people who live in the communities hugging the Gaza border as to Sharon's legacy. They would not be so kind. Stop pretending he was more than he was. His legacy will be that of a failed PM, who believed his own BS. His BS has put Israel in a very precarious state.
3. He'll not be remembered favorably
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.13.14)
He'll be remembered with the expulsion of almost 10,000 Jews from their rightful homes in Israel causing thousands of rockets into Israel.
4. Sharon will be remembered as the 1st NON-JEWISH Prime Min.
David ,   Jerusalem   (01.13.14)
Sharon will be remembered as the first non-Jewish Prime Minister. His mother was a Russian non-Jewish woman. (She converted officially but remained secular, invalidating the conversion ) AFTER Sharon was born. Sharon never converted. This might be the reason for his non-Jewish heartless expulsion.
5. Transformation
Xaviera ,   Jerusalem   (01.13.14)
In his demise, so similar to his life - we watched a 400 kilo wild boar turn into 50 kilos of vegetable.
6. To: No. 5
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.13.14)
And you .... what are you? Judging from the content and "acuity" of your post, I'd say you're a 400-kilo hausfrau. A stupid one, at that. Shut up. You aren't fit to polish General Sharon's shoes.
7. david#4 the definition of a jew
arne ,   chicago usa   (01.13.14)
in the jewish sports journal is " anyone with at least one jewish parent who identifies as jewish and practices no other faith is considered a jew".In the eyes of most of the world he was not only a jew but, a great one.
8. sharon --a jewish king
harvey gefen ,   toronto can,   (01.14.14)
re;;#4--stating sharon was not jewish is the same as saying king david was not jewish because his mother was a moabite and she did not get an orthodox conversion or go to the mikvah orwear awig etc.etc.after abraham all of us came from converts.your tribal ways are contrary to the universalism of the torah and its moralistic teachings.sharon fought to make judaism inclusive ;your ways divide and exclude jews.remember from rutg came king david; from king david comes the messiah. sharon and his blessed mother are in good company.
9. 4 David . Where did you get this?
robert ,   Antwerpen (2018)   (01.13.14)
Even if you are right, Ruth the moabite , a convert, was the grand mother of king David. Maybe her conversion was also not right since David sent Batcheva's husband to die in battle in order to get her. Sharon too was not exempt of mistakes but all over he fought many succesfull battles for Israel
10. 9 Robert,how can a grand-mother
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (01.14.14)
be held responsible for the mistake of her grand-son,and therefor her conversion be revoked ? I am sure you can find better arguments to defend Sharon.
