1. Give the strikers nothing. Dissolve the UNRWA
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (01.12.14)
They are highly paid and large enough that they shouldn't need to do something like this. Fire all of them, give their funding the the UN refugee agency that is supposed to cover ALL refugees and hire people that aren't so greedy. This shows that they really don't care about the people they are there to represent.
2. Refugees
Davisupp UK ,   Nottingham   (01.12.14)
Why are there still refugee camps in the West Bank? It can only be political on the part of Fatah, I can't think of any other reason.
3. 65 years of mollycoddling and inaction
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (01.12.14)
It looks like these pampered folks will just have to learn how to clear up their own refuse.Like the rest of us who don't get it all on a plate from the UN. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
4. Just dismantleNWRA and absorb these arabs back into.....
Jakeja   (01.12.14)
the countries where they are now. End of problem.
5. I cannot understand this paradox - why Palestinian Arabs
leo ,   usa   (01.12.14)
are refugees in Palestine. Are they trying to get back to Arabia?
6. OPEN THE CAMPS, REMOVE FENCES, DISSOLVE UNRWA
Beary White ,   Norway   (01.12.14)
This is the solution to the problem. This Islamic states have held the pals as hostages, and openness will put an end to it. As always we know islam is not known for treating people well.
7. Why doesn't the PA ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.12.14)
... take over at least trash collection? Does Abbas want to start a health crisis? And why doesn't the PA open its medical clinics or, at the very least, send "Palestinian" physicians and nurses to staff the clinics? Oh boy! Envision, if you will, a "Palestinian" state. Can you just see what's coming once the UNRWA dismantles these camps, and those on the UNRWA payroll are forced to get real jobs? Abbas is not up to the task. The PA doesn't have anyone who is. Between the PA and the UNRWA, you have accounted for 95% of the graft and corruption among "Palestinians." These people could never run an actual government. I'm sorely tempted to think that this is the core reason why Abbas is tough-talking and refusing to be flexible. He assessed the situation and reached the conclusion that he does not want an independent "Palestinian" state. He wants what Israel has. That's not going to happen and, even if Israel withdraws from some of the settlements (which I do not believe will happen), Israel will dynamite all the homes, stores, medical and dental clinics, apartment buildings and everything else left behind. Dynamite all the wells that were dug, highways that were built and irrigation pods. Take down the power lines which brought electricity to the West Bank. Shut down all access to running water and indoor plumbing. They want a state? Let them build one. We're going to give the "Palestinians" the land in the exact condition it was on June 11, 1967. The "Palestinians" will not benefit from Israeli sweat equity and hard work. On the bright side, it will give them a chance to show the world just how much they "love" the land [chuckle]. They didn't do anything with it between 1948 and 1967. Does anyone seriously think they'll do something with it now? LOL! What? Did you think we would allow them to merely step in and take over everything painstakingly built by the Jewish people? Oh no, no, no. That's just not going to happen.
8. Why still camps?
Michael Livshits ,   USA   (01.12.14)
Can't they build a decent housing, with all the money pored on them?

The money is there-you don't need a degree to figure out on what the money is spent on.
