I rented a car there once when I was on vacation, its like like driving around Mumbai or Nepal. In the United States when the police pull you over for reckless driving and excessive speed you are given a ticket and fined. In Israel if you are an Arab speeder with connections, you are pulled over and the Police apologize to you and as we have seen, if you a terrorist you can expect to be released as a gesture of goodwill. The leaders of Israel are Meshugganah!

Are you sure that the incident that you reported about the PA PM speeding happened in Israel? Here in tolerant little Denmark, the Arabs in general and Palestinians in particular are known for speeding in several parts of the city where they overtake on the right hand side, drive over side walks, go and drive thru' red traffic lights, DAILY!!!! and our police is afraid of them.

Even emergency services have to obey the same rules of the road as civilian vehicles unless they are on call when they are allowed to drive at speed so why should some pathetic politician be allowed to get away with it. The fact he has a title doesn't mean he cannot have an accident that road rules exist to avoid. They should not have halted the rest of the traffic so they could chat with him and they certainly should refused to apologise for doing their jobs and if he hit the officer then he should have been arrested same as everybody .
