1. OK but.........
Mike ,   Tel Aviv   (01.15.14)
How does the great Ministry of the Interior in all its infinite wisdom, justify the huge sums of money hurled at Paul McCartney and Madonna and their ilk performing here in Israel? More than that - Rose has made a tremendous contribution to entertainment here and obviously her musical talents are very popular. So you would think that the great stalwart ministry could exercise a little flexibility here, as recognition to this contribution. It wouldn't be unreasonable to do so.
2. Who cares?
Phoenix ,   Israel   (01.15.14)
Deport her! She's nothing to do with us! How come she is an Israeli contest???? She is jus a foreign worker from the bloody third word. This country is full with leftis idiots!
3. Fostanes's Visa
Nancy Rowe ,   Littleton, USA   (01.15.14)
Can't the government give her a different work visa? She is obviously a productive member of Israel society as a singer. To limit her would be a shame.
4. Horrible law. Can't she sing abroad?
Laila ,   Montreal, Canada   (01.15.14)
Horrible law. Can't she sing abroad? Maybe she get a career in the Philipines. I am sure she would prefer to live there.
5. She shouldn't have been allowed to compete
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (01.15.14)
What about the woman she was supposed to be taking care of, who is taking care of her now? She should have just married an Israeli or had a baby to get permanent resident status like many Filipinos here.
6. Be kind to her
Brod ,   USA   (01.15.14)
She is a good ambassador for Israel to the world through music. There is no question that she is a super talented singer. Her CDs could be sold into the millions world wide. It would be good business for Israel.
7. Oh Man, give the woman a BREAK!!
Leah ,   Israel   (01.15.14)
For goodness sakes, let her sing and make a decent salary. Why does such a talented woman have to live "al ha panim???"
8. Racist
enrico Navea ,   Riyadh, Saudi Arabia   (01.15.14)
You are racist! Good thing that you are not the majority.
9. If they dont allow her the career she
benji   (01.15.14)
wants so much, in music, maybe back home they may appreciate her, she just might become the Susan Boyle of the Phillipines and make a lot more than here as a caregiver. Whatever path she chooses, she has one hell of a voice and she is such a lovely person, can only wish the best for her.
10. Is she getting back together with ABBA?
tom ,   tel aviv   (01.15.14)
11. Rose
Xfactor   (01.15.14)
To 7. Hate to break it to you tootz, a huge percentage of our country is living "al hapanim". She chose to come here and trust me she is making more than a lot of Israelis living here.
12. Okay, easy - Rose goes back to Philippines
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (01.15.14)
get a new visa and comes back to Israel - OR goes on getting famous somewhere else. I'm sure Simon Cowell would love to make millions from her recordings.
13. # 2
(01.15.14)
Well said! Spoken like a true Israeli Racist!
14. Thanks for letting her sing
WanLuna ,   Manila, Philippines   (01.15.14)
Her story is typical of many of my countrymen, who has to go abroad and find their dreams there. Here at home many followed her performance, and we appreciate how Israel has accepted her. All the more we appreciate Israel for letting Rose fulfill her dream and change her life. I hope that she will be allowed to sing there, but if not, we still thank you! God bless Israel!
15. It is not fare
Shimon Z. Klein ,   Bat Hefer, Israel   (01.15.14)
This is unacceptable! Why can't Rose be given a chance to make a name for herself, even in Israel? After all, she came first in the X-Factor competition. It is the xenophobic laws in Israel once again!! I am so ashamed!!!! The time has come to accept people for what they are not whether they are Israeli or not. Israel is fighting the concept of being part of this planet called Earth.
16. Easy Workaround
Debby ,   Florida, USA   (01.15.14)
She will likely get a British or US recording deal. If she gets a book deal, that should not be considered employment income.
17. to #15 Shimon Z. Klein in Bat Hefer
Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (01.16.14)
I will support Rose's right to sing for pay in Israel.... when Israelis are also allowed to do so in the Philippines. immigration laws in the Phils are VERY strict and they deport foreigners-working-illegally all the time. Read the Manila online newspapers, please, before running your mouth.
18. Find a loophole
Roland ,   Miami Beach, USA   (01.16.14)
Filipino nurses tech album. The music business needs the business. The show must go on. You don't need the government trying to run the theater with inspectors like it's a slaughterhouse.
19. why cant Rose sing in Israel ?
rozario pereira ,   Ramat aviv, Il   (01.17.14)
As Rose is the winner of X. Factor, she should be given the privilege to sing in Israel, we being caregiver, we do all the work in the house, sometime we do work of old lady and old man in the same house, but we are paid for one person, in this the authority do not look.
