1. Please, let's stop the backslapping - yes, be proud, but
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (01.15.14)
understand that Rose has talent that is not found every day or year in this world. The voters did not choose Rose because of Philippine or personal story - JUST for her voice and ability to sing stupendously.
2. the philippinos
JL   (01.15.14)
have become a part of the people of isreal..they have taken care of our parents and do not engage in criminal activity like other nationalities here..they have stood by isreal and the jewish people through thick and thin..congatulations Rose!..

Oh yeah, not involved in criminal activity like other nationalities here? Since when has prostitution stopped being a criminal activity?
4. The post at No. 3 is not mine
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.15.14)
I don't use the hash key. Ever. That's one. There are three other dead giveaways that the post is not mine. Happy hunting, little troll.

That's what I like about you, never a good word about non Jews

i havent met any philipino whores yet but im sure there are..but you seem to be the resident know it all about everything..you dont even live in israel..so go f yourself..you are disgusting and pathetic and im sure most agree..
7. Let the Filipinos get Israeli citizenship
David   (01.16.14)
The vast majority of them are women and often past child-bearing age and they are working year after year to take care of the old. They wouldn't be an issue. The winner of Israeli X-Factor can't even get paid(!) for her singing because of the way these work-permit contracts are constructed. It's a shanda.
8. I love Philippinos. As simple as that.
HaifaGuy   (01.16.14)
Never had any member of my family taken care of by them, don't have any personal Philippino friends, but none of this is necessary to love these kind, humble, hard working, loyal, graceful and grateful people. I only wish that one day their women would be able to stop working overseas in order to provide for their good for nothing husbands and not have to raise their children by talking to them on the phone twice a month. It's heart wrenching.

Nope, I dont agree with you. How do you know Sarah B. doesnt live in Israel? Your language is vile.
10. Trust the minority
SG   (01.16.14)
It never fails to amaze me how a report on something as simple and feel-good as a singing competition can illicit such mean-spiritedness, and attacks on other talk-backers and nation groups from both sides of the spectrum. Shame!!!
