Lieberman an illegal settler himself is being forced to build new settlements by the likes of Ya'alon because they deliberately want to scupper the peace talks by forcing the Arabs to walk out. What you are proposing is for 6 million normal decent Israelis to sacrifice their economy for the sake of 500,000 settlers to prevent a peace deal that the majority of Israelis want. If you took the time to learn a few simple historical facts then you'd be embarrassed by your ignorant post. Why do you think the Czech Republic is so pro Israel? The Arabs were not expelled. They left because Arab countries said, "Get out fast because we are going to destroy Israel". And hundreds of thousands of Jews were expelled from Arab lands and received no compensation.

Seems like Israel is just not taking things seriously, and that's extremely bothering the diplomats. Freeing prisoners does not give Israel a pass to build in the West Bank. In fact I believe freeing prisoners should have been one of the last things to do, after negotiations with Palestinians were almost complete.

Israel should cut all ties with this Europe that the (American) talkbackers hate so much. No trade with Europe. We don't buy anything from them, we don't sell anything to them. Our economy is so big it won't hurt us, while Europe is completely dependent on export to Israel. We shouldn't even use European airspace for flights to or from Israel. If the EU states needed any further evidence of the current Israeli government's blindness to its own faults, and of its strategic stupidity, Leiberman has provided it. The whole world rightly opposes the illegitimate settlements policy, so rebuking Israel for pursuing it is reasonable and rebuking those who rebuke Israel is unreasonable. Further, this kind of aggressive insult only further alienates those whose support Israel dee eatery needs. Get rid of this government of fools – they are destroying us.
