Chaim ,   Israel   (01.17.14)
the same level as our "cousins" the Arabs, perhaps it's time that Bennett open his eyes and brains and get rid of this unsuitable cousin of his who never thought of him as a brother in the first place.
6. "rabbis should not meddle in issues unrelated to halacha"
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.17.14)
says Lapid. Neither should Lapid meddle in issues unrelated to comedian, and definitely not meddle in issues related to Torah or Yeshiva or Judaism in general.

Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.17.14)
All that matters is a JEWISH Israel. Get that through your head eurotrash.
10. Lapid : Learn as you go
Tarbouche ,   Aswan   (01.17.14)
The Framework agreement can hobble Israel leaving us with a handicap as a fait accomplit. Mr Lapid should see Dr Goldman's report on demographic forecasts on Latma.TV before he pontificates
11. Watch your back BB!

Catch him with that right hook.

Egged buses can clear the problems in one week and good riddance!
14. Finally!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.17.14)
"Lapid: We need to get rid of the Palestinians" Lapid and I agree on something. But we continue to disagree on the settlements. Israel needs to get rid of the "Palestinians," but Israel must annex Judea and Samaria. The "Palestinians" should be repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship.
15. Where did you get this lunatic?
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (01.17.14)
Send him to Gaza or Syria and don't allow him to reenter Israel. KEEP BUILDING !!!!

BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (01.17.14)
Jews shouldn't "Pontificate', that's for pope's only. They pope's don't do too well with it either. ( all those banking scandals and the countless Vatican paid pedophiles.) KEEP BUILDING ISRAEL !!!!

Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.17.14)
19. Good advice
jsm   (01.17.14)
Good advice all around. Get rid of the Palestinians - cut Gaza loose and make it a state. Any rockets get 5 returned on target within 10 min.
20. #6 Chaim: How is the Torah going to stop sanctions?
Fred Bloggs ,   The land of israel   (01.17.14)
It is good to be right but better to be wise! When you our kids can't get accepted into University overseas, when you can't visit you relations in the USA, when Europe bans ALL the products from Israel is the Torah and right wing fanaticism going to give Israelis jobs, educate our children and put food on the table? Think before you write! Most of us like the idea of "Greater Israel" but not at the expense of 7.000,000 Israelis! Israel can survive without Judea and Samaria but Judea and Samaria and the Jewish people cannot survive without Israel! So Tel Aviv will be ten kilometers away from the enemy "State". So what? Haifa is 50 kilometers from the Lebanese border and it was hit over and over again in 2006. The distance doesn't matter. What does matter is to get the Palestinians OUT of our country, close the borders and stop secular and religious Jews from employing them. Just a few weeks ago and "nice Palestinian Worker" killed an Israeli soldier while he slept on the bus! Is that what you want to happen over and over again?
21. TO paulD # 7
FO ,   Belgium   (01.17.14)
"...the fools...", you mean the Arabs?
22. #14 Sarab B -You make it
arne ,   chicago usa   (01.17.14)
sound so easy--cannot be done--The transfer of land is the only way to rid Israel of 50 to 75% of Pals.Jerusalem is another matter. One step at a time. There's an old Polish expression,"pavolya" means slow down, take it easy, don't get your balls in an uproar.
23. Jordan is Palestine AFTER Abdullah. Give 1,2,3 ...17 years
hipocrates ,   earth   (01.17.14)
and watch. No 23rd state to the Arabs.
24. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.17.14)
And THAT, my dear, is precisely why Prime Minister Netanyahu paid a little visit to King Abdullah the other day -- "Hey, kingie, you're going to get a major bump in your population pretty soon -- they'll be a welfare state because they don't really work except in Israel, the settlements or in invented "civil service jobs" for the "Palestine" Authority -- hey, we understand; OF COURSE you don't like it, but that's just the way it's gonna be -- nobody wants them, they're a violent lot, been kicked out of more places than anyone in recent memory, but just take a page out your late papa's book, and figure out how to deal with them. Sorry, kingie, it's a done deal -- make the best of it. After all, your country did start the war; we won it .... so we're just exercising our rights as the victor in a defensive war -- and we're sending a lot of Jordanians home to their kingdom. You should be thanking us. Considering what's going on along your other borders, you need us to be favorably disposed toward Jordan. The only reason you haven't been overrun yet is because no one wants to tangle with the Jewish state -- they don't like their odds. For good reason. Now shut up, be a good little kingie, and do as you're told."
25. Lapid unwittingly let out the truth.
Jake   (01.17.14)
"Despite the political vision he presented, Lapid explained that until the settlements are evacuated, they must be properly funded: "Most of the budget for the Settlements Division is transferred to the Galilee and the Negev. And no new settlements are being established."" There it is, straight from the mouth of an opponent of the settlements. Moneys allocated for the settlements are being channeled elsewhere.
26. Israel need to get rid of this idiot LAPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idan ,   Israel   (01.17.14)
"Jews" like this are more dangerous to us than the Arabs!!!!!
27. over due from 1967
Avram Goldsmith ,   Toronto, Canada   (01.17.14)
28. To: JSM at No. 19
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.17.14)
Exactly! And no more free fresh water, free electricity, tens of thousands of metric tons of free humanitarian aid trucked in on a weekly basis, free medical care -- and any missiles or mortars fired into Israel treated as an act of war by a hostile aggressor. I'm liking it more and more!
29. Palestinians also want to get rid of Israelis
Sam ,   Canada   (01.17.14)
If Israel moves out of territory without a peace deal then Palestinians will move up and start firing at Israelis from there. Israel can't make a peace deal because Palestinians demand a right of return into Israel. Their demand for the 1967 borders is just propaganda for US,EU and Jewish idiots who fall for their BS and are overeager to appease them. One would think that Israeli politicians would have a little more sense. Clearly, Lapid shows they do not.
30. Agreed. Palestinians out of Israel!
manicdrummer ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.17.14)
Israel has grown tired of going around in circles with the Palestinians. Let the Arab countries take them if they care so much. The West Bank and Gaza are both part of Israel. They were only set aside so the Palestinians could have a place to live because no Arab country would take them in. But once the Palestinians are banished from Israel, the Arab world will be stuck with them. Why must Israel spend another day haggling over their plight when so many Israelis are struggling to get by day after day? The drain on Israelis military and police resources is tremendous and a remedy like this is long overdue.
