When cartoons were printed in the west, demeaning the Prophet of Islam, you Jews of Israel barked "freedom of speech"... What has changed since then?

Anybody who "apologizes" to Foxman as he always demands will get up off his knees with brown lips. For better or worse, the Magen David is the central feature of Israel's flag and only Israel's flag, and so has come to identify with and symbolize Israel. But I'd say those who use it in reference to Israel should take care to color it blue, as in the flag, and avoid confusion with the Jewish religion. Or better yet, use it with two short stripes affixed to top and bottom points to emphasize the flag.
