1. Interesting Policy as long as.........
Memphis Slim ,   memphis, TN - USA   (01.22.14)
It ends up quieting the rocket fire. In essence, Hamas is ALLOWING Israel to police the Gaza strip from the air.
2. YNET should show the ambulances with rocket launchers
Rivkah   (01.22.14)
that are in the underbody of the ambulances. The body of the vehicle behind the cab lifts up like a dump truck to reveal rocket launchers that fire and then the body of the ambulance is lowered to look like an ambulance again.
3. Hamas outsourcing terror
Yechiel Christ   (01.22.14)
They could as leaders of Gaza stop the rockets since they choose not to they should still be held responsible. The so called uninvolved citizens are actually the voters who elected Hamas to power. By cutting off supplies for a week after every rocket attack Hamas would wise up and enforce no shooting of rockets at Israel.
4. #2 : Where did you get that?
(01.22.14)
What are your sources? Do you have any proof or is it just some BS?
5. the gove't here is working to stop the rockets
shadi ,   Gaza strip   (01.22.14)
hunderds of hamas policemen have been deployed in the border towns to catch those respnsible for firing rockets .... I saw a dozen this morning on my way to work ... the problem facing the policemen is that rockets sources still unknown and the open areas are large and can't be put under full control ... the isreali army need to help the gov't ... this afternoon an army jeep opened fire on a group of policemen who were patrolling near the border's no-go zone .. this unacceptable incident ...
6. 2. There are garbage trucks like that, too.
Rivkah   (01.22.14)
7. Send Kerry on a tour of The Strip
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (01.22.14)
Peacemaker Kerry: take a nice tour of the Gaza strip and report back to us with some sunny news.
8. Hamas "Judenrat" interests coincide with Israel, not Egypt
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.22.14)
9. So Israel finally understood
Ivan ,   Haifa   (01.22.14)
Civil population shouldnt be punished for attacks while it´s ok to murder these who try to murder. It´s ok, good and excellent.
10. #5 Shadi in Gaza
Yechiel Christ   (01.22.14)
Too Bad. Draft more police. Divide Gaza into sections and if a rocket comes from a section the town closest wont get supplies for a week. That's fair. Peace.
11. Who Is Responsible
LJH ,   Canada   (01.22.14)
Targeted assassinations of those responsible for the rockets is a good idea, but they should not take the pressure off hamas. If they want their own country, they have to learn how to control the citizens, or pay the piper his due.
12. This may be a healthy policy for Israel:
A ,   Belgium   (01.22.14)
A terrorist a day keeps the rockets away.
13. #8 "Judenrat": You sure enjoy practicing your
A ,   Belgium   (01.22.14)
National Socialist Workers Party lexicon, don't you Benazsi, probably makes you feel REAL proud!
14. The stupidest policy yet
Leon   (01.22.14)
The dead terrorists' families get huge compensation from other Arabs and become heroes. Only proper war-like attacks with mass destruction of terrorists (=Arabs) will stop the terror. But Israelis are too stupid to realize this.
15. This is a joke, right?
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.22.14)
Hamas "tries" to stop the rocket attacks. More like Hamas has their useful idiots and I'm starting to think we're part of them. Hamas is in charge of Gaza (seems maybe even Israel too), therefore Hamas should also be responsible. If we can hit the rocket launchers directly, great but if Hamas could have prevented it, they are guilty by association and should also be punished. Can you hear Hamas laughing at us? Stop trying to appease the international Jew hating arena and do what you gotta do. At this bureaucratic rate of progress we're a 100 years from a peaceful solution. That's not good enough!!!
16. Yet...
Volvi   (01.22.14)
if Israel reacted each time on Hamas as being the governing body no matter who is pulling the trigger it may pressure Hamas to act against these privateers. Isnt that what we would prefer? otherwise Hamas will just leave it to Israel to play policeman and will go on with its business of re-armament unabated. Or target them both simultaneously.
17. #13, No s in Nazi.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.23.14)
18. Rocket Launchers
Harold ,   USA   (01.23.14)
After the downfall of Gadhafee of Libya his advanced weapons were taken by many different Islamic groups and that is very dangerus for the Israelis and the Syrians.
19. #12
Harold ,   USA   (01.23.14)
That's what you think. You have to know where billions of Dollars of Gadhafi weapons are placed at present. These stolen weapons at present are very dangerous for both Israel and Syria.
20. "free lance ?"
michel ,   Ashkelon   (01.24.14)
There is not such a thing as "free lance " between the palestinians. They are all deeply committed to kill jews, from the familiy level to their authorities. All their culture and society are based on that.
