I'll give them 500,000 bucks if they're still married in 10 years! Selfish twits screwing up the lives of young children

Here's the reason for all the hate messages: it is hard to see successful, gorgeous, wealthy and fulfilled gay men and women. I know many couples in the US who have been together for 15+ years, which may be hard to see in Israel because 15 to 20 years ago this country was still in the Stone Age, as it pretty much would be now if it weren't for its High tech. The problem is when technology replaces empathy and emotional intelligence...

# 1: that's exactly how I feel about all the straight parents who don't give their kids appropriate education, proper manners and abuse them. I have a tom of female friends who were somewhat abused or sexually harassed by a straight male from the family. Sorry to break it to you, but there are TONS of straight predatorial fathers, uncles, brothers. BTW the straight families seem to be scoring really high on domestic violence. # 2: I don't see many straight marriages that last more than 3-5 years. Now is that better for the kids just because the parents are STRAIGHT even though they're divorced? It all comes down to the couple's values and not what they do in bed. WOW! Such a hard concept to grasp, ain't it?

Thanks for being a voice or reason and compassion. It's unfortunately far too common to see hateful, negative talkbacks. Positive talkbackers like you are a very welcome breath of fresh air.

Hey. Thanks. Any time! But it's not really about compassion. It's about REASON, JUSTICE and FAIRNESS. Do they want gay people's taxes and contribution to society? Then by all means gay people should have the same rights as anyone else, especially in a country that knows quite well what it's like to have to fight for legitimacy whereas for other countries legitimacy is a no-brainer.
