There would never have been any foreign Jihadists in Syria if Obama had 1/3 of George Bush's backbone and acted decisively two years ago. The ONLY just solution is to eliminate Assad and support the very real Syrian revolution. Anything else is self-defeating folly. Let us not forget that Assad, besides being a vicious little Hitler, has been reduced in rank to a mere viceroy of Iranian hegemonic ambitions. The worst thing Israel could do would be to try to make a devil's bargain with Assad, which only helps the bigger devil, Iran.
