1. You cannot protect people ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.27.14)
... from themselves. File this one under no good deed going unpunished. The Lebanese who are in an uproar ought to pay significant attention to the message which was, quite simply, "Get a divorce from Hezbollah. Here's what we can bring to bear against you -- we may not want to do it, but do it we will and it really doesn't matter to us if Lebanese die in the process of Israel putting an end to Hezbollah." Oh well. What happens, happens. The Lebanese people cannot say that they were not warned.

My dear Sarah, even though i don't agree on the attack against LBC (the Lebanese news channel) because it is a bit stupid since the IAF doesn't need a Lebanese channel to broadcast any message, but if you are that much offensive and you want the war against us (the Lebanese) you are the most welcome and don't say you were not warned. Honestly, i prefer to have a drink and a chat with you in a nice pub in one of the beautiful cities along the Lebanese coast or maybe in Israel than seeing each other in the battle field in one of the deep valley along the borders. i am ready for both but i think you are only seeing the second one.
3. #2 - while I support your wish to share a drink
William ,   Israel   (01.27.14)
and honestly, I believe there is more commonality between Israelis and Lebanese on many fronts.... but you can't even protect yourselves from the asymmetrical attacks of Al-Qaeda inside Lebanon, do you really think you can protect yourselves from the strongest military in the region as your "protectors" use your population as human shields? Talk about wishful thinking. That being said, you'd find very few Israelis who wish Lebanese ill-will and really do want peace with our northern neighbor. Take Hizbullah and the Iranian-footprint out of the equation, and peace is practically assured.
4. How did they get into the country?
William ,   Israel   (01.27.14)
Nevermind what they reported on inside Israel, just being in the Jewish State is a violation of some Lebanese "Law". Will Hizbullah arrest all of the LBC "spies" soon?
5. "Can't hide behind production company....done on purpose"
William ,   Israel   (01.27.14)
Yeah, I bet this was done on purpose. Perhaps the biggest message to Hizbullah is coming from within Lebanese society itself. "Stop putting Lebanon's interests after Hizbullah's or else". Shias in Lebanon are starting to get upset with Nasrallah's actions. Could Lebanon be looking southward in a bid to head off an internal existential threat the way the Gulf Arabs have in the face of Iran?
6. to William

trust me the Israeli and the state of Israel are doing a mistake by thinking that Hizbullah is out of the Lebanese society, you should start acting or reacting taking in consideration a fact that most of the Lebanese-including me- believe that Hizbullah is not only a necessity against Israel but also against Al-Qaeda and all fundamentals Islamist. You should be thankful that Hizbullah is taking the heat from Al-Qaeda and not Israel which suppose to be their target (i don't wish to see terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians). My friend, i was answering Sarah enthusiasm for the war, i was trying to tell her that talking about it is easy but going for a war is not that easy even for the IDF who knows that. Sorry if i talked too much but please allow me to add one point: the war against the terrorism is world wide and needs combined effort to fight them, hence i agree with you that we can't protect ourselves but also no one can do it alone.
