1. Appeasement has led to a rise in Antisemitism
ambrosine shitrit ,   london uk   (01.27.14)
The rise in Antisemitism has been largely ignored by the very same people who now write about the Holocaust., including Bank Ki Moon. The UN being a prime example. Why has Antisemitism spread across Europe like wildfire? Appeasement of those who are churning the new Neo-Nazism. For too long our community leaders in Europe have been quietening down the real root cause and perpetrators of the new breed of antisemitism. Everyone has been afraid of exposing of Islamist antisemitism due to the fear of being branded either a "Nazi" (turnspeak) or islamophobic. The diversity organisations that deem to be anti-Racist, are more than not, anti-Israel, and only concentrate on the "far white right".. We set up YadbyadUK online, due to the lack of response to antisemitism on social media, and especially the organisations reporting Jew hatred, who are also afraid of upsetting communities that are pushing new neo Nazi ideals. Enough is enough. The Jobbik type of Nazism is the least of our worries. Time to talk about what is happening, who are the main people inciting the hatred towards Jews.
2. Banki Moon.
Rodney ,   CT.SA   (01.27.14)
" UN secretary-general says world can and must do more to eliminate poison that led to Nazi death camps" But isn't he doing exactly what he is saying the world must stop doing. Appeasing the very people (muslims) who played a big part in assisting the Nazi's. Hypocrite!!!
3. Well, duh
Andrew Brehm ,   Zurich   (01.27.14)
"In special article for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, UN secretary-general says world can and must do more to eliminate poison that led to Nazi death camps" Well, go ahead and do as much as you want. Shall I point you to the "Death to the Jews" crowd, since you apparently are unable to find them on your own?
4. Yeah?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.27.14)
Such pretty WORDS. Words, however, are words. Makes it hard to understand how unabashedly anti-Israel are Ban Ki-Moon's ACTIONS.
5. Yeah - While on his way to oversee anti-israel resolutions
Andrew ,   Miami   (01.27.14)
6. palestinian muslim mufti was responsible for Holocaust/Shoah
Truth Forever ,   Le Trop, France   (01.28.14)
To millions of muslims around the world the Holocaust meant & STILL means absolutely nothing. They believe the Jews deserved it & meakly pretend not to have had any involvement with it [a very large % of muslims believe the Holocaust never even happened & are very vocal about it all over the internet]. But the ABSOLUTE TRUTH about the Holocaust belies this: The muslims had a CENTRALIZED hand in the implementation of the Holocaust reported by eyewitnesses who happened to be very high up in the S.S. and assistant to Adolph Eichmann, architect of the Holocaust himself, one Dieter Wisliceny. In part of Mr. Wisliceny's testimony at the Nuremberg trials following WWII, he is directly quoted as saying: "In my opinion, the [palestinian arab] Grand Mufti, who has been in Berlin since 1941, played a role in the decision of the German government to exterminate the European Jews, the importance of which must not be disregarded. He has repeatedly suggested to the various authorities with whom he has been in contact, above all before Hitler, Ribbentrop and Himmler, the extermination of European Jewry. He considered this as a comfortable solution for the Palestine problem. In his messages broadcast from Berlin, he surpassed us in anti-Jewish attacks. He was one of Eichmann's best friends and has constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say that, accompanied by Eichmann, he has visited incognito - the gas chamber in Auschwitz."
7. What poison? Nazi came to powere democratically.
Miron ,   USA   (01.28.14)
The question is they killed off people. But look at what we did in Libya? What we are doing in Syria? What we are threatening with Iran? How are we any better?
8. Japanese slaughtered 30 million
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.28.14)
"It may be pointless to try to establish which World War Two Axis aggressor, Germany or Japan, was the more brutal to the peoples it victimised. The Germans killed six million Jews and 20 million Russians (i.e. Soviet citizens); the Japanese slaughtered as many as 30 million Filipinos, Malays, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Indonesians and Burmese, at least 23 million of them ethnic Chinese. Both nations looted the countries they conquered on a monumental scale, though Japan plundered more, over a longer period, than the Nazis. Both conquerors enslaved millions and exploited them as forced labourers—and, in the case of the Japanese, as (forced) prostitutes for front-line troops. If you were a Nazi prisoner of war from Britain, America, Australia, New Zealand or Canada (but not the Soviet Union) you faced a 4% chance of not surviving the war; (by comparison) the death rate for Allied POWs held by the Japanese was nearly 30%."
9. In Syria we see how empty these words are
Shachar ,   Eilat   (01.28.14)
Every likes to talk the talk but when action is needed they are nowhere to be found. Bosnia, Rwanda,Sudan and now Syria all genocides aided and abetted by UN inaction.
