The PA does not want an agreement because they reject everything offered and feel no pressure to compromise. Building settlements on the occupied land is a self destructive idea. You should have known better. You should consider leaving the settlements on the Palestine side of the border. Settlers can stay and start paying taxes and rents to the PA. Sooner they start paying taxes to Palestinians, sooner they are accepted as productive members of the new state. If you moved to US and tried to keep paying taxes and rents of US property to Israel, you would not be welcomed there either.

The cost to the Israeli economy would be staggering if a shoulder launched rocket took down an airplane or if a missile hit a factory or high tech area. If a plane were taken out, tourism in Israel would grind to a halt. Giving up Judea & Samaria would give terrorists the ability to do this.
