Kerry is right. The only thing he didn't say is that If it wasn't for the US unwavering support of Israel the entire world would boycott Israel. The US VETO has kept the world at bay for decades. You take that VETO away and Israel will end up like South Africa. Anybody that discounts the support of the US is either dumb or stupid. The world is changing and the power of pro-Israeli supporters in the States is wavering considering that most US Jews have a connection with Israel like most Italian Americans have a connection to Italy or African Americans to Africa.

Kerry is coddling the Palestinians with money, a prisoner release and attempted freeze while turning the screws on Israel. When challenged he and his minders tell everyone how much he loves Israel. Enough of this shtick.

Kerry can be pretty obtuse, but as a diplomat he needs to realize his words, especially as an emissary of the US president, are "signals". His words in November warning Israel of a Third Intifada was taken to justify increased violence and terror against Israelis. ("See? I warned you," he will later say.) So too with boycotts. He and the EU's "Foreign Minister" Ashton have both been "warning" of boycotts - but only against Israel - if a peace deal isn't concluded. And right on cue, EU's private sector starts boycotting Israeli interests. ("See? I warned you. Now agree to my Framework or worse will happen.") The State Department may deny intent, but they - and the EU - have to take responsibility. Words matter.

Instead of warning Israel about boycotts, he should be warning the EU that boycotts will only make the situation worse. Because he didn't, he has already made the situation worse. He clearly proved that he supports BDS.

Its the EU that wants the Middle East conflict between Israel and the Palestinians be solved and they are the ones who demanded American, the honest broker, to pressure both parties to negotiate for the future Palestinian State. The EU did say before the Peace meetings started that they will apply sanctions on both parties when it fails.

Those who accuse Kerry of supporting a boycott logically thinks the whole Israeli right supports a nuclear attack on us. They've been "warning" for a nuclear attack repeatedly unless something is done, just as Kerry is "warning" for a boycott unless something is done. I don't believe Kerry actually called for a boycott. I do believe however that between the lines Kerry was in fact supporting the enemies of Israel by threatening Israel with dire consequences if no agreement is reached. Actually no agreement can be reached until Israel is recognized by the Palestinian Arabs as a Jewish nation and state with an inherent right to exist. No Palestinian leader has shown any interest in doing this. Why does Kerry being such a" great friend and supporter of Israel," side with the Palestinian cause , a cause connected by the hip to the call for the destruction of Israel?
