1. The BDS movement will continue
Robert Penn. ,   USA   (02.07.14)
to grow.israel will be mor & more isolated. Israelis have put on blinders and delude themselves about the illegal land theft, occupation and apartheid racism.
2. BDS
Hmm. ,   Chicago   (02.07.14)
I don't really see the BDS effort going anywhere. I think Hoenlein is overreacting. Israel needs to just keep developing. If it loses a few investors, it will gain others.
3. BS BDS! BS BDS! BS BDS! BS BDS! BS BDS! BS BDS! BS BDS!
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.07.14)
4. How Are You Going To Stop The Tide From Coming In?
World Citizen ,   the world   (02.07.14)
You don't have the truth on your side and all the paid hasbarem in Israel can't change that. The BDS Movement is growing in all parts of the world. More importantly discussions about BDS are taking place on every campus in the USA. Those students know what apartheid is. It looks like Israel. They will not forget it.
5. #2 the problem
(02.07.14)
The problem is not the BDS movement that is an utter failure except in the press. The problem is that Kerry, Livni and Lapid all support BDS to force Israel to surrender to Fatah
6. BDS is a failure but must be fought everywhere
mostrel daniel ,   paris   (02.07.14)
the hypocriticals who call for boycott must find a countercampaign of boycott against all who submit to it , we can change banks ,insurance compagnies , even car brands, we have to fight everywhere anytime , boycotters are very few make a lot of noise and want israel to be destroyed as a jewish state
7. Boycott
larry ,   Kibbutz Israel   (02.07.14)
' Best way to react is , whatever country follows the boycott ,. let all the Jews imigrate to Israel from that country' . 'I think the message would get though very fast'!
8. 'war won land' in the West Bank
Joseph ,   London England   (02.07.14)
Regarding the West Bank, when the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine was given to Britain, Palestine and the possible Jewish National Home included both sides of the Jordan River. Britain had promised the areas around Damascus, Homs. Homes and Aleppo to the Arabs, but NOT Palestine. Eventually Churchill gave the East Bank to an Arab King of Jordan on condition that he accept a Jewish National Home on the West Bank, from River Jordan to the Mediterranian Sea. In 1948 Jordan invaded Israel and captured the West Bank and Jerusalem. In 1967 Israel took back what it should have had. See Sir Martin Gilbert, Churchill and The Jews [Simon and Schuster 2007]
9. The PA economy
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (02.07.14)
He says Israeli occupation is stopping the PA economy from growing. Tony Blair spent years helping build a PA economy and things have improved substantially. Israel has created many thousands of well-paid jobs for Arabs on the West Bank. Why hasn't the PA done this? Could it be because between five and six billion dollars donated to the PA were stashed by Arafat in Swiss and French banks.
