What's the catch?
3. More of a man than any Israeli politician
Yoshua ,   N.Y   (02.07.14)
Rouhani has something that is inexistant in Israeli politics - human decency. In his time in office and political career he has not killed, robbed, lied, or engaged in criminal activity. He has my respect simply for being a human with a soul, regardless of ideology.
4. #3 Just a gimmick
Benji ,   US   (02.07.14)
As the article states, most of the patients and staff are Muslim. Founded as a Jewish hospital before the Jews fled Iran. Public executions have continued under Rohani. Not much has changed since Ahmadinejad. Iran's human rights record is no better.
5. May be he's got a bomb shelter there OR the bombs sheltered

there in the hospital. This smiling wolf doesn't fool me.
6. It prooves sancations has an effect

Earlier this week Iran's foreign minister condemned the Holocaust. Then Rouhani donates money to the Jewish hospital in Tehran. Today's YNET lead story states Iran is ready for more nuclear concessions. Without sanctions none of this would have happened. But of course, it doesn't mean the Iranians can be trusted. Right now they're just squirming a bit - it's fun to watch! But no doubt, the Iranian people want an end to sanctions.
7. to the naive believers about Rouhani,....
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (02.08.14)
To the naive believers, talkbackers,... that Rouhani is a better, a moderate president for Iran: nobody can or will be elected as a president in Iran without the permission of the most highest clergy and his suppreme leader, nowadays: Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. The rest is plus minus fake. The same for the Iranian Parliament. They let some critical people to be elected, but those people are screened very well and they will no harm the system, otherwise... Another mistake: Khatami. "THE" moderate one. The man started the nuclear path, not only the peaceful one, but...the one towards the "device". The rest is fake, bu...itt! In a certain way Ahmadinejad was the most correct of them all: he said openly what the suppreme leader or Shia says about Judaism and Zionism. On the other hand he defended always Esfandar MASHAEI, a more moderate person (read his quotes about USA and Israel) of his entourage. G'd's ways are sometimes mysterious.
