4. He is nothing more than a thug..his own words confirm that
Al   (02.07.14)
He should have never ever been assigned the foreign ministry portfolio. Incredible how so incompetent a person is allowed to be a foreign minister. Israel lacks leadership for it clearly shows.
5. Lieberman's stance inspirational
(02.07.14)
We need a channel to divine Kerry's and Obama's notions to destroy Israel.
6. Sounds like blatant political jargon.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (02.07.14)
7. Pretty ovvious no that Wieinstein et al BOUGHT Lieberman....
Sad day in ,   Israel   (02.07.14)
Now I understand why they dropped all his charges. He has officially become another mouth piece for the radical leftist elites.
8. Lieberman another chicken
Arik ,   Hadera Israel   (02.07.14)
ready to divide the land of Israel to please his US bosses, I wonder how much he was paid! With politicians like him we don't need enemies!
9. Who's the Sucker?
Dan ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.07.14)
The unity of the land is vital to the existence of any sovereign country, most of all for Israel. Anyone who gives away the land or divides the land is a traitor and a sucker.
10. Peres's Clone
Dan ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.07.14)
Now Lieberman is sounding like Peres...."The unity of the people is more important than the unity of the land". Poetic but makes no sense to the normal individual and to a normal country. Stop the nonsense!
11. Tactics
Ram ,   London   (02.07.14)

has just lost all the respect I had for him.
15. Some commentators haven't got a clue.
Jules   (02.07.14)
People, do you realize that the USA is the only ally of Israel who have sufficient diplomatic and military capability to do the job ? Do you remember: who vetoes all anti-Israel resolutions at the UNSC ? Do you know where the most modern and advanced weapons for the IDF come from ? It is very easy to blame Lieberman for "becoming leftists", until you get a job at hand: to keep the IDF exceptionally well armed and to have a top-level protection at the UNSC. Administrations come and go; but the military and political alliance between the USA and Israel is here to stay for many years ahead.
16. Sharing the burden
Joseph ,   London England   (02.07.14)
The Gaon Reb Moshe Feinstein ztl said we must never see Yiddishkeit as a burden, but as a Mitzvah we perform with joy. Serving the nation in the IDF or in yeshivah or in alternative national service is NOT a burden. It is a Mitzvah we should perform with joy. More Haredim and Israeli Arabs should do national service not as a burden, but because they want to strengthen Israel as their home.
17. All the wonders one bottle of Vodka can do...
2Mad ,   גולה בצרפת   (02.07.14)
18. May be some of these so-called friends should try to
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (02.07.14)
live in Israel for a year, for first hand Middle East experience, instead of spouting what Middle East countries should do - from their palatial homes in Washington DC.
19. 13. @ Joe.
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.07.14)
Lieberman is no dummy. Agreed, he does know what he is doing & saying.
20. Government already big enough suckers to release prisoners
Sam ,   Canada   (02.07.14)
Now let's see if government caves in to further Kerry bullying who wants to shove a Palestinian state down Israel's throat with or without concessions from Palestinians. Netanyahu and Lieberman talk tough and then cave in with a little American pressure.
21. Lieberman has either gone nuts or been turned by left.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.07.14)
Perhaps Lieberman made a secret deal with the leftist judiciary to escape the legal torment it put him through.
22. 19. @ Alan.
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.07.14)
oopps, nope you're not Joe, pardon me!
23. 18.
Birdi ,   Israel   (02.07.14)
Lol, they would'nt last a day here!
24. Liberman
Avi ,   NYC   (02.07.14)
I guess the US Admin. got to Liberman. They must have something real damaging to blackmail him for support
25. Lieberman
Bill Stein ,   USA   (02.07.14)
This is my opinion I'm beginning to believe one of three theories about Lieberman is true. Either those Iranian publications claims of political payments were made to Lieberman Bibi and Livni by the Qataris is true, or Lieberman was threatened or let out of his trumped up bribery allegations to pressure him to support the suicide talks going on or he is completely mad.
26. I cannot unite with you, Mr. Lieberman
Steve Klein   (02.07.14)
Mr. Lieberman, you say "the unity of the people is more important than the unity of the land." How can there be unity of the people when the people (many of us) will not entertain giving up any more of our precious land?
27. Yea , right
Robert ,   farmington,wv   (02.07.14)
trying to win the peace prize at Israel expense and putting Israeli's in danger is not a friend Minister Lieberman.
28. To All Commentators
Harold ,   USA   (02.07.14)
If an outsider says what Lieberman said he/she will branded an anti-Semite. He is considered against the promissed land theory.
29. Friends?
Bill Stein ,   USA   (02.07.14)
Kerry threatens Israel and is a friend?
30. Lieberman, did you hit your head on something?
Chaim ,   Arad   (02.07.14)
Talk about a complete turn around. Next, will we find him hugging Abbas?
