Unfortunately, the report makes no mention that the destruction of Israeli targets would only be in retaliation for an Israeli attack on Iran -- which is clearly stated in the video. Since Israel has been threatening such an attack for more than a decade now, it makes perfect sense for the Iranians to warn the would-be aggressors about what they are to expect if they proceed with their plans. Iran has never attacked Israel (or any other country, for that matter) since the Islamic Revolution took power (or for the last 1000 years, for that matter).

The "Islamic Revolution" took over the American embassy in 1978. Let me remind you that an embassy is considered soveriegn land. That is an act of war, period. After the embassy was overrun, the 53 Americans were taken hostage, which is an additional act of war. The US would have been within its rights to turn Tehran into a smoking pile of rubble. And the world would be a better place today, btw.
