Why not try to be innovative instead of trying to imitate others ? What if those six political figures told the people a bunch of lies ? Would the people feel any better or be happy ?

The American system with just two parties is no good but we need to get rid of coalition government. Have a multi party first past the post system with about 3 parties and have all MKS elected directly. We can get rid of this expensive dysfunctional system where the real power is in the hands of little parties with 6-7 Knesset seats because the mainstream cannot form coalitions without them so they have a disproportionate amount of influence. The state could save millions every year of we for rid of the current system and we wouldn't have to hold a billion shekel election each time a small party leader has a tantrum pulls out the coalition and brings down the government.
