The majority of the Israeli public want the Africans gone and at the very least off the streets and they can vote so government must take notice of what they want. The Africans have no vote so every single one of them can come out and protest 24/7 and the government can ignore them and not change policy. The Africans should also remember the more disruption they cause the more they will get peoples backs up and the more people will be demanding government do something about them. I certainly don't see why they should complain about staying in the Holot facility considering its hygienic, they get fed, a bunk have entertainment facilities and the they can go out in the day with 500 shekel a month spending money. If life is so bad at home why can't they accept life in Holot... beggars can't be choosers.

Since most of the Eritreans are either Catholic or Orthodox Ge'ez rite Christians why doesn't Israel promote their community's position? Doing so would bolster a non Moslem group; score a public relations coup among Christians in the West; and, "Be a light unto the Nations."
