1. How many millions does top management make?
Gila ,   Jerusalem   (02.16.14)
Let THEM give up their salary of they want to keep the doors open. That should pay the bills and have some left over.
2. Govt needs to take action
Dan ,   K"S   (02.16.14)
If the patients are not moved to another hospital, only the government and the heath funds are to blame. The nurses informed everyone - at least via the news - that there would be very limited staff in the wards. A single nurse (or 2) cannot handle a ward where the patients are in rooms as much as 60 meters one from another. Limited - only life threatening operations - are immediate life threatening. If a finger is not amputated, infection can spread to the hand, the arm and THEN it is life threatening. How many wait without strikes for the finger amputation and are only taken o the OR when an arm needs to be removed? It is time for the government to declare a national emergency and move the patients from Hadassa and Sharei Tzedek to other facilities and prepare Sharei Tzedek to handle all of Jerusalem and its surroundings. Or pay the staff their wages. The staff have financial problems also and it is not right to cause them to be bankrupted by the bankrupcy of their employer. Any other company would have closed the doors and sent the workers home. To keep the staff without fair pay is slave labour.
3. Slave labour
Dan ,   K"S   (02.16.14)
Why is a court able to permit slave labour? If a person is not paid at least minimum wage or is not permitted to transfer to a different employer - I think it is slave labour.
4. It‘s an absolute disgrace that the wealthy elite
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (02.16.14)
don’t share the wealth with their fellow Jews. Not paying workers on time is a violation of the Torah.
5. Same
Israel ,   Haifa   (02.16.14)
I currently work in the UK, but am returning to Israel soon, its virtually the same here, just shocking that they expected to get away with a 'Partial pay' lets see the top managers be ok with Partial pay. ha
6. Investigate
Carol ,   Jerusalem   (02.16.14)
We need to see an investigation into those in administration that created the crisis and the inflated salaries for a select few. The people who work at the hospital deserve to know.
