1. My new pathetic broken record is "perfect reverse barometer"
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (02.17.14)
2. The ambassadors words
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (02.17.14)
For somebody who is not a diplomat and doesn-t like the way diplomats talk and talk, the resume of his words is: "Success is after the talks to have more talks" What once again says to me that diplomats are one of the worst kind of people you can find in this world! For them no place for words like: "Truth, Loyalty, Reliability"
3. Peace will begin to come about as a process when the Arabs,
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (02.17.14)
local and regional alike, accept Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, rather than continue to call for and act toward its demise. And, any such peace will have to be based strictly on the fundamental elements of international law related to the Arab Israeli conflict and the way to resolve its: (1) San Remo conference decisions, 1920; (2) League of Nations decisions, 1922; and, (3) UN Charter, article 80, 1945. To be implemented strictly within the parameters of UN Security Council Resolution 242, 1967. One is puzzled: Why do the Arabs object to abiding by these fundamental elements of international law and UNSC Resolution, 242, 1967, which passed unanimously, accepted by all parties to the conflict and has served, by consent, as the basis for all peace talks to date and actual agreements signed by the parties...?? P.S. And, why does the Obama/Kerry duo attempt to undermine this legal basis...??!!
4. It's called" vacating Israel" by all Jews
DT ,   TA Israel   (02.17.14)
and the US lets Iran get the bomb and 'calls it a new beginning and historic occasions .
5. Claim Judea/Samaria. End evil piece talks.
Chaim ,   Israel   (02.17.14)
Now is the time for the Jewish Spring. We need a huge patriotic uprising to claim our ancestral heartland of Judea and Samaria forever. End the evil piece talks, intended to instal a terrorist entity in the shadow of Ben Gurion Airport. Israel needs to replace Bibi with a P.M. with the guts to do this.
6. WHAT IS THERE TO TALK ABOUT?
stude ham   (02.17.14)
here is the short list... Isrsael is to give up Jerusalem... anything west of River Jordan right up to the Mediterranean sea... Golan Heights after the Syrian blood bath... Tel Aviv... The Negev... all of the Jewish people... etc... If these be talks then let it be done by the mouths of our merkavas.
7. About Kerry's sudden disappearance?
Steve   (02.17.14)
Secretary of State John Kerry's less than friendly motives were called out by a few brave Ministers and activists in Israel. So much so that Kerry's own brother felt compelled to pen a piece insisting his brother does not have an anti-Semitic bone in his body.
8. Will God bless America for this?
Steve   (02.17.14)
I have Christian neighbors who scoff at the prospect that America will be anything other than a blessed nation even should the U.S. help carve up the land of Israel. They tell me (poking fun) "God is not a real estate agent." But clearly the Bible that millions (even billions) of Christians and Jews revere says God gave all these lands to the children of Israel. Forever! President George W. Bush gave us the Bush Road Map for Israel's dismemberment. He pressured Prime Minister Sharon mightily to retreat from Gaza and parts of northern Samaria, August 2005. Now we have Barack Obama who is pursuing Bush's "vision" of a new Palestine with a passion. Obama will leave America with so much national debt she will not ever climb out of it. What will be Obama's legacy if he is successful establishing a Palestinian state dedicated to Israel's destruction? What will be America's long-term fate?
9. Ambassador Shapiro Re Pollard ...Nothing ?
Roland Seener ,   London England   (02.17.14)
10. 242 requires negotiation process but has some problems too
Martin SA   (02.17.14)
242 requires negotiation process but has some problems too. Sovereignty has problems I would have hoped we should encourage partitioning and offer an economic sweetener to the pa. If the pa are worried about collapsed peace talks and collapse of pa then its time the set aside the 67 borders and work on an economic formula. They have the chutpah to want hive off our tax base and real estate to ensure they survive. This is ludicrous. Peace talks are in an unworkable bubble. Another formula is needed if they ever come and smell the roses. An HONEST formula / framework is needed which does away with the present political agendas. The pa wants us to pay for their unworkable honour and undeserved pride. The frameworks on the table do not buy Eretz Yisroel security to the extent of being unworkable with Israel being the biggest long term looser. PA must accept a WIN WIN WIN formula. Put pride in pocket and look at other workable solution. The Ambassador is so vague it is painful. It infers that we Israel being required to give and PA and other gentile groups receive. This spells an unworkable framework for us in particular. They want us to give the two things in particular and a third later. Jordan Valley East Jerusalem and later all of Yehuda and Shomron This is ludicrous but that’s why these talks are so secretive. They are trying wear us down to be submissive. This ridiculous and should be rejected out of hand now. We have wasted 9 months while US dances their jig, using diplomatic double talk. They even pulled in Lieberman who fell for the non-sense.
