1. Ashrawi??
Italian for Israel ,   Italy   (02.26.14)
Who gives her a jota about Israeli arabs?? She has to close her mouth and think instead to christians in PA areas who are harrassed by muslims.
2. Thats rich coming from a people that make non-Muslims
Gideon78 ,   Cpt South Africa   (02.26.14)
Pay Jizya Dhimmi tax.... I guess employment equity is a foreign concept to the Palestinians... "The Christians are our allies" That is another rich statement coming from a people where the Christian community has fled from the Palestinian territories due to persecution and banning of Christian holidays...like Christmas in Gaza!
3. Arabism
Yaud ,   Jerusalem   (02.26.14)
Only total annihilation of Israel would satisfy the arabs
4. garbage thinking. where do you find these talking heads
ralph   (02.26.14)
5. discrimination against Jews in arab lands
jenifer ,   jerusalem, Israel   (02.26.14)
and what about discrimination against Jews in arab lands. that's fine with the arabs ,right? the arabs are such bigots! and the world is quiet
6. Can you imagine the fuss
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (02.26.14)
if the United kingdom passed the same law including Jews? There would be a perfect storm, yet Israel is allowed to follow apartheid policies of racial segregation
7. Christians have their own voice
Danny ,   London England   (02.26.14)
Throughout the Muslim world there is violent discrimination against Christians. Copts are murdered in Egypt, Christians receiving the eucharist in Iran are beaten, Christians in Pakistan are murdered for false allegations of blasphemy . . . . Muslim MK's are enemies of Israel, but Christians are not. Christian Israelis should have their own voice.
8. And If Arabs Were Not Included . . .
emanon ,   USA   (02.26.14)
The arabs would complain if they were not represented on the board. They complain if they are not helped by Israel and they complain if they are helped by Israel.
9. Calling BS on "are allowed to vote"
AJ ,   Jerusalem   (02.26.14)
The part where it says "Palestinian Israelis have full citizenship and are allowed to vote" is extremely misleading. Arab Israeli Citizens are allowed to vote and *are* discriminated against, unless they wear their IDF uniform everywhere (a mid-rank Bedouin officer wears his all the time to avoid discrimination). You're also allowing anyone who isn't aware to assume that includes *all* Arabs living inside Israel, who have residency. They are not allowed to vote in national elections and are highly discriminated against, both through bureaucratic process and every day life.
10. Equal Opps draws fire
Mark ,   London, UK   (02.26.14)
Hey ho. What a surprise!
11. God bless Israel
John ,   Mumbai, India   (02.26.14)
Hallelujah. God bless Israel & PM Netanyahu & his team. Long live Israel. Entire world's Christians are always with you. We love our Israeli brethren. Surely Christians are not the threat to Israel but blessing. We respect Mosaic law as it came from Lord God of Israel the only God of heavens & earth whom we love & worship.
12. Divide and rule
daz ,   uk   (02.26.14)
This is the oldest trick in the book dividing people along sectarian lines, My country did it in Northern Ireland between the Protestants and Catholics
13. Whats wrong with granting Christians minority rights?
Nyxa ,   Tel Aviv   (02.26.14)
Every Arab with Israeli citizenship has full civic rights, including the right to vote. The Palestinians who live within Israel with residency, but not citizenship cannot vote in national elections. This does not mean that the system doesn't discriminate or make Arab life more difficult, every citizen gets full rights to vote and have representation.
14. We brazilianjews have no better friends than christian arabs
Ibrahim Sued ,   Rio de Janeiro   (02.27.14)
The country 'belongs' to them since its a christian country but they, who are a true elite in every field here, have preferencial relations with us. We wouldn't even have to meet if we didn't want, but the case is the opposite.
