(almost) no one 87 ,   Israel   (03.06.14)
2. The left is always wrong on everything
Leon   (03.06.14)
But this does not cause them to think critically... is it the marijuana?
3. As long as it's Haber writing, Bibi can afford to ignore
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (03.06.14)
4. "Arab world is flat on..." is that meds or just the water...
Miron ,   USA   (03.06.14)
As if this guy's brain lack of zigzags wasn't enough, he is a racist.
5. Why do you express such cowardice?
Israeli 2   (03.06.14)
Eitan Haber, why are you so afraid? What do you have against us Jews? You heard what Abbas wants...just give it to him? Everything? Why, Eitan? You are not very Eitan, R U?
6. Peace
Walid ,   Spain   (03.06.14)
For years I have been writing in support of peace in the Middle East. For years there has been so many missed opportunities. Israel can no longer afford stonewalling the Palestinians and Arabs. This is the last opportunity knocking at its door. Within the next few years, Israel will be surrounded by radicals in all the neighbouring countries. Men and women that believe in Jihad and are not afraid to die. On the other hand, peace will bring stability in all the Middle East and extrimists will subside. There is no longer time to waste.
7. Running out of time?
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (03.06.14)
How many last chances and windows of opportunity have come and gone over the past decades? We're all still here but the doomsday preachers aren't. The caravan passes and the dogs bark. Tomorrow is always another day. Besides, how will Pals extort money from a credulous world if they make peace? They will have to start working for a living.
8. On second thought...
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (03.06.14)
1. There will never be peace with the Palestinians (Arabs). 2. There will always be presidential and world peace initiatives (they're all suckers). 3. There will be no end to last chances and windows of opportunity.
9. Exactly the same argument used to import Arafat and give him
ab   (03.06.14)
WB&Gaza after his disastrous support of Saddam
10. More Leftist Defeatism
A Simple Jew ,   Beer Sheva Israel   (03.06.14)
This article is garbage. Israel doesn't have to surrender. The left has been wrong about everything. If land for peace was going to work, you would have brought peace in 1993, with Oslo. All you brought us was more war and danger.
11. Haber
DianaK ,   Germany   (03.06.14)
Haber advocates the same positions as Chaim Mordechai Rumkowski
12. In absence of good arguments, the resort to time running out
Tracy W   (03.06.14)
Israelis won't be fooled by this marketing strategy: Picture the blaring advertising on TV: GET IT NOW, folks, before merchandise runs out. The "it" invariably being something the customer really does not want or need. But the company expects that the advertisement's loud and hysterical tone of urgency might draw in some customers.
13. Exactly how is the Arab world ¨flat on it´s face¨ ?
Yeoshua F. ,   N.Y   (03.06.14)
All over the middle east Arab nations are breaking the chains of the dictators who kept them subjugated. In Lebanon, Hezbollah is in it´s strongest military capacity ever. Jordan is an international consensus, and the Palestinians had historic achievements in the UN. Just because there is a war in Syria doesn´t mean the entire Arab world is knocked out, you arrogant clown. It seems like Israel, who is facing boycotts and pressure like never before, is the one who´s suffering. Your light minded arrogance is the reason Israel (and some might say Jews in general) is unable to ever reach peace.
14. Eitan Haber is a terrorist like obama!
Father Abe   (03.06.14)
15. Now is the time. We can get
(03.06.14)
a deal for at least 2 years. What is Bibi thinking?
16. you are entitled to your comments
jerold   (03.06.14)
as Ukrqine found out, they should never have dropped their nuclear weapons which they now could have used them to block russian invasion of Ukraine. the lesson of 73 was not to make a deal at any cost though to look for a reasonable one, the problem in 73 was the problem of peaceniks basically-US told Israel not to preempt which is to say US advice is generally bad for israel;the other problem israel was in zeira just like it had witho lmert, halutz and peretz in 2006. hopefully and most of israel prays that zaken makes a deal and testifies what really happened so olmert can get paid back for how he dealt with erdogan, his concessions and strategy. The courts have been protecting him. Zaken do yourself a favour. Now, you doni't make peace because you are afraid of war, especially in the middle east;you make it if there is a good deal which is there not.
17. Time is TOTALLY on Israel's side. Claim our land!
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.06.14)
The Arab economic oil weapon has not been weaker in many decades. Jews are a growing majority in our land, as many highly credible U.S. and Israeli studies prove. The hoax of the "Palestinian demographic bomb" is revealed. NOW is the time to claim our ancestral heartland of Judea and Samaria forever. Demand UNLIMITED Judea and Samaria building. Haber is a dolt who armed terrorists. He is infallibly wrong about everything important.
18. Stop the nonsense and get with the program
Al   (03.06.14)
Israel will always be irrespective if there is 'Peace' with the Arabs or not. The strength of Israel is precisely because the Arabs in the area refuse to accept Israel. That has been the Jews strength since the beginning of time. We are the chosen people...Its high time you accept that instead of always playing the mediocrity card. The Arabs have one of two options, either accept the fact Israel is in the ME to stay of stew in their delusion of perpetual victimhood.
19. Bibi, time is not on our side
George Weiss ,   Teaneck, USA   (03.07.14)
You and your fellow defeatists are just trying to have israel give and give without getting. Just look at Lebanon and Gaza and see that controllling territory is vital, especially to a small state like Israel. With the ME in turmoil, no one can predict the future. Even you.
20. fool alert
Leon   (03.07.14)
21. Make a deal now
Naftali   (03.07.14)
Eitan, Yes, let's make that deal, all of us want peace. So, who is writing a similar article in the newspapers in Ramallah and Gaza? After all, we need to make peace with someone since our last unilateral move did not work out so well. Where are the masses protesting for peace in the West Bank or Gaza? Ok, I'll settle for 10 people with handmade signs saying "Enough Abbas, make peace (well, first honor the peace you signed with our brother in Hamas in the Holy city of Mecca) but we digress. I mean, sure we can't make peace with our own brothers, but we are ready right this minute to make peace with our hated enemy, er we mean the Israelis. Let us know if you see an article similar to yours in the Palestinian media.

27. Where do you live Mr. Haber?
Danny ,   Montreal, Canada   (03.09.14)
Can I come and join you on Fantasy Island.? Is Mr. Rourque and Tatoo with you now?
28. weak and pathetic
jan ,   Jerusalem   (03.11.14)
and wrong. Of all times, as result of the uncertainty of Arab states bordering us, making any more self defeating moves could be devastating for us and Jordan. When the war in Syria ends if we have given the Golan or part of the Jordan valley, we sill seriously be leaving a vaccum for all the insurgents to try to storm through Jordan, possibley causing them serious harm as well. We must fiercely hold on - and maybe all those great and brave "shahids" will help their brothers in Crimea as they are the only ones who have the interest to deal with Putin. Let's not forget the Aphganis did a great job fighting the Russians. This Haber is superficial and an annoying Arab apologist.
