1. 5th column
Airborne ,   Jerusalem   (03.06.14)
The Arabs are not the 5th column but rather the bureaucracy. You get paid to do your job. If you do not like it do not take the job. NObody forced you to take it. What an absolute joke. Could you see any other country's reps behaving like this? On second note, what makes you think the living situation here is any better? You think the gov't cares about bureaucrats over citizens? Get a clue.. The first law of bureaucracy is: 'protect the bureaucracy' The second law of bureaucracy is: 'expand the power and remit of the bureaucracy' The third law of bureaucracy is: 'undermine and marginalise outside competing interests' The fourth law of bureaucracy is: 'oppose change in any form' The fifth law of bureaucracy is: 'reject any form of outside control'.
2. Pull a Reagan
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (03.06.14)
fire them and hire a new staff. KEEP BUILDING !!!
3. Fire Them
STEVE39 ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.06.14)
Are these professionals who understand the importance of their job and serving the state? NO!!! Ronald Reagan fired all US air controllers and started the system from scratch. The country survived. The foreign ministry clowns feel they can humiliate the prime minister and stifle our already constrained role on the world stage, Nonsense. Open the list of fired people and see the number of volunteers or people willing to accept the job
4. Disgrace
Iris ,   USA   (03.06.14)
This is unheard of behavior. I think Netanyahoo should replace all the diplomats who did not show up to welcom him at the Los Angeles airport. If they don't like their work situation, they should fight the ministry of foreign affairs not the prime minister on a very important visit. I am sure there are enough young people who would be delighted to replace those irresponsible people and would perform in a better and wiser way.
5. foreign service did lousy job re libels against Israel
bernard ross   (03.06.14)
dominated by the left.
6. Foreign Ministry Workers
Ralph ,   Rishon   (03.06.14)
Who needs Arab Terrorists, when we have our own home grown terrorists, they are called the workers (?) of the Foreign Ministry. They should all be fired, and we can start again. We have enough people who can represent the country, speak foreign languages fluently (I still remember the Ambassador to the UK who couldn't be interviewed there because his English was not good enough). There are enough highly educated people in the country who know the way the people of many countries think because they came from there. It's about time the PM woke up and started doing something about this disgusting situation.
7. Think before speaking
Rick Grimes ,   Woodbury GA   (03.06.14)
Precisely because of their deep commitment to Israel's international standing and national security, Israel's diplomats insist that their reasonable demands be met. Among them are a long-overdue adjustment of the salary to the rise in the cost of living, an end to a discriminatory tax policy, consideration of the dear price paid by "trailing" spouses and children in terms of loss of income, career and pension, and a decent compensation for extra hours.
8. Rick's words
Yם ,   Israel   (03.07.14)
Very well put Rick let us let talkbackers 1-4 to read it again: Precisely because of their deep commitment to Israel's international standing and national security, Israel's diplomats insist that their reasonable demands be met.
