1. Ah another 'peaceful pal'...
BUILD BABY BUILD   (03.10.14)
and obama/kerry/clinton and ashton "Demand and Insist' on Israel ceding her hard earned land to these half witted inbred lunatics? Not on your life. BUILDING IS WINNING.!!!!
2. Another terrorist gone. Thank you.
Sharon   (03.10.14)
Will the Left finally realize that Arabs are no friends and Israel may absolutely not allow them into Israel?
3. Question
John ,   Herzliya   (03.10.14)
Is he entitled to a full number of virgins or not?
4. Bless our soldiers...thank you IDF for protecting us
Al   (03.10.14)
5. to No. 3 - yes of course, he won all the 72 vergins!
daniela   (03.10.14)
with no discounts :-)
6. Excuse me Al
Non Jewish immigrant ,   Haifa   (03.10.14)
As much as I respect these soldiers for doing what they're requested to do, I also have lot of respect for these people who have to go through these ugly and degrading checks. You and your friends seem to forget too often than the oppressed are the Palestinians and not te Jews anymore. These terrorists your soldiers defend you from, who made them? Everything is a matter of action and reaction. You oppress people by ruling over their lives and they violently respond to it with defense mechanism. That's human nature. You can't blame them for doing so.
7. To: John at No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.10.14)
No, he probably only gets one seventy-two year old virgin. He'll get the rivers of honey, but only the ones with red soldier ants nesting along the banks. On a serious note -- what is the greater insanity? That this whack job tried to take a soldier's rifle, or that Israel's rules of engagement require Israeli soldiers to attempt to arrest a terrorist, then shoot at the terrorist's legs, before finally firing a fatal shot? Tried to choke a soldier? What if he'd had a knife? An excess of caution -- the instant he starting screeching "Allahu Akhbar," he should have been killed. We know what generally comes after, and it is not a risk worth taking
8. When playing with fire, expect to be burnt!!
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (03.10.14)
9. B.S story
Muhannad AbuTair ,   Jerusalem   (03.10.14)
Release the video footage of what happened. this is yet another israeli B.S story.
10. to#3, John
Marcelo ,   Berlin / TLV   (03.10.14)
nop, he will be given the Arafat's love treatment...
11. Really?
danni ashe ,   tel aviv   (03.10.14)
So after he was shot through the legs, he still posed sufficient threat to the group of soldiers involved, to warrant another shot in a vital area? With his bare hands one man alarmed a group of armed soldiers enough that they saw no way out but to kill him? Seriously?
12. To: No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.10.14)
I think you should protest. I think you should vote with your feet. Get the hell out of my country; that's what will make me take you seriously.
13. To:6 - Incitement and Brainwashing makes....
(03.10.14)
Incitement and Brainwashing makes these Pals do the crazy things they do. T heir leadership could focus on economic development, but they choose to turn their population into threats. Your assumption that Israel is the reason for thier despiration is one-sided. Most Israelis agree that the checkpoints are humiliating to anyone, and they will even agree that they don't like the fact that THEY HAVE TO DO IT TO SECURE THEIR SAFTEY.
14. To: No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.10.14)
Excuse me, but the next time you're enjoying a meal in a Haifa restaurant, or quiet coffee with your morning paper, please remember to give thanks for Israeli diligence at the checkpoints. That's what stands between you enjoying the newspaper and a cup of coffee and being blown to bits, okay?
15. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.10.14)
You don't know if he was about to detonate himself, though, do you? If he's crazy enough to try to attack an Israeli soldier, the assumption has to be that he is crazy enough to do anything. There is no benefit of the doubt to give. Kol ha'kavod to the soldier who fired the kill shot.
16. This is sad
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (03.10.14)
I grieve for his family and friends. This does not sound like a real attack on Israelis. It reads much more like an attempt at suicide.
17. #6 non-Jewish immigrant
Madeleine ,   Israel   (03.10.14)
Why don't you use your head for once before making anti-israel remarks. the only reason these checkpoints were started was BECASUE the Palis keep trying to blow us up. If they truly wanted peace, if they were a peaceloving people, there wouldn't be a need for such check points. It's because of the IDF's alertness that Israelis, including, unfortunately, people like yourself, can, as no. 14 says, sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in peace and safety.
18. Thieves. ..
(03.10.14)
Thieves they're because Israel needs to protect and know who's crossing that international border between Isreal and Jordan.
19. #16 - you could be right... he was a Judge
he had to be stopped   (03.10.14)
(just mentioned on the BBC)
20. Every crossing has a lot of video cameras, but
Dov ben David ,   Eilat, Israel   (03.10.14)
Israel prefers to show a footage that has nothing to do with the incident. Why not show a tour around Israel???
21. Release video
Observer   (03.10.14)
Arabs are denying that he ran to the gun , and that it was a regular quarrel with a soldier. If releasing the video will help end their conspiracy theories then it might help.
22. #16 What a good heart you have!
A ,   Belgium   (03.10.14)
Did you remember to light a candle in honor of Schicklgrubers birthday earlier in the month too?
23. Excuse me Al
austin ,   LA   (03.10.14)
responding to Excuse me Al - the arabs do not have to go through these checks........ let them go to Jordan, they have no right to be in ISrael and they would have their own 'state' if they agreed to terms AFTER they lost all the wars against ISrael they still want whatever they want, and will not accept anything less Their situation is the result of their intransigence and their religion
24. Judge?
Alexi ,   Earth   (03.10.14)
Activist Judges... Islamic Style.
25. What came first the chicken or the egg
Arnold-Canada ,   Montreal   (03.10.14)
In this case what came first the security checks or the attempted murderers. I live less than an hour from the USA border. There is but one checkpoint before crossing over. If we Canadians made 1% of the trouble the palestinians make for sure there would be many checkpoints before being able to get into the USA.
26. He's a peaceful Jordanian judge you lying sharmoutas
Marwan ,   Tel Aviv, Palestine   (03.10.14)
And it's pathetic how you don't even dare publish a comment that tells the truth!
27. 6
igor ,   Toronto canada   (03.10.14)
this is a border crossing don't mix it with your anti Jewish propaganda.
28. 20
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.10.14)
Sure, show footage of every crossing in Israel, so the Pallies can then identify every inch of each checkpoint. Not.
29. 26.
Birdi ,   Israel is ours.   (03.10.14)
As peaceful as you are!
30. 9.
Birdi ,   Israel   (03.10.14)
Yet another one trying to twist the truth.
