Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (03.13.14)
Yet another failure for a bankrupt USA administration
2. AIPAC must adopt.
Peace AIPAC   (03.13.14)
In the past 15-20 years all US administrations have failed America. AIPAC must fire its leaders, and a new fresh independent managers must be found. There were signs of cooperation with honest decent Palestinians. Dr. Ziad Assali, and Hussein Ibish. This is one of the best things AIPAC can do.
3. Discordance in Attitudes
Zechariah   (03.13.14)
The Israelis are very Pragmatic about their Security and have many Committed the Religious Zionist Right and the Right Secular Nationalists. As Nuclear Capacity Proliferates Jewish Security in Israel is Tantamount. The Us believes it could provide the security with the IDF and NATO but the Jews are not convinced.Seven million Palestinians in 85% of Judea and Samaria and Eastern Jerusalem looks Extremely Dangerous .
4. Not just AIPAC, Bibi too
AY ,   USA   (03.13.14)
Most American Jews, even those who pay dues to AIPAC, were shocked by Bibi's trying to influence American vote in the presidential elections.
5. Good! Who wanted to hear Obama
Sam ,   USA   (03.13.14)
speaking lies, yet again. After all, he has Israel's back.
6. Obama is the most hostile US president to Israel
CJK   (03.13.14)
there is no point in blaming anyone but obama who hates israel. obama's ideology is tiers mondist and pro-muslim. obama will not change his policies even if he would be helped by such change. he is wedded to his ideology and to his agendas. nor is he yet finished.
7. Hussein used AIPAC to be reelected and then threw it to dogs
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.13.14)
8. Look Eitan....
Israeli 2   (03.13.14)
it matters not if Bibi will be next PM or not. I prefer someone much tougher than him. One thing for sure, the left in Israel has come to an end. As for AIPAC why should we care if Obama yawns at AIPAC? It is after all Hashem who takes care of everything. I love Israel, Torah and Hashem and I trust only in Hashem. That's is called being Jewish.
9. There is little that AIPAC can do
(03.13.14)
when the president is ideologically opposed to Israel. They are just pretending to be relevant so they can keep collecting donations and paying themselves salaries.
10. Was Obama invited?
Dina ,   USA   (03.13.14)
AIPAC has been criticized for being too pro-Obama. I for one would not pay a dime to listen to Obama whose treatment of Netanyahu was shameful. AIPAC needs to look to the future which will definitely be a Republican leadership.
11. Not So !
A.C.Guard ,   USA   (03.13.14)
What has happened to America is that it has undergone a bloodless coup.Under the guise that it was time for a black president, the left, young and minorities elected a Kenyan, Muslim, socialist who was never vetted by the media. Obama has distanced America from all it's former allies. Israel is not alone in being deserted. It will only continue if Hillary is elected next as she and her husband have made millions of dollars off Muslim countries.
12. AIPAC must adopt.

13. AIPAC not ?!
yosef, phd ,   florida - israel   (03.13.14)
Correction. AIPAC is and will be what it's supposed to be ! It is the pitiful, closet muslim President of the U.S. who makes it look this way. It is temporary and in two years no one will care about this worst leader of once great a country. Israel ! Hold steady and do not cave in to unprecedented pressures for suicidal concessions ! Much of the sane world still is with you !
14. Eitan Haber
Albert ,   Stamford, USA   (03.13.14)
I was one of the 14,000 who attended the AIPAC convention because of our commitment to Israel. I am at a loss to understand the point of this article. Are you trying to destroy the most effective support that Israel has? Why? What exactly is your problem? You are a disgrace!
15. Quite a Mask:Will he celebrate Purim with us too,?
Roland ,   London England   (03.13.14)
16. No 4 - What's wrong with wanting to influence the elections?
JtC ,   Nir Eliyahu / Jhb   (03.13.14)
After all, politics is politics, and the US are champions at trickery like that, so what's the big deal? Anyway, had it gone netanyahu's way, US may have been better off...
17. Obama's presence
Joe Justice ,   Jerusalem   (03.13.14)
"Obama's absence from this year's AIPAC conference marks Jewish lobby's decline in eyes of US administration." Let's see how many democrats running for election also choose to have OBAMA at their side. For a man who "leads from (his) behind", we know what absence means, and so will those grateful candidates.
18. Ibish is Lebanese
Danny   (03.13.14)
19. No. 4 AY
NYC Girl   (03.13.14)
That might have been understandable if Bibi had actually been trying to influence the election. The fact is that he and Romney had been personal friends from the time they worked together at Bane. In fact, when Bibi was questioned by a reporter about whether he would support Romney to win the election, he was very careful to insist he had no right (nor inclination) to attempt to influence any election in the U.S. Maybe, one of these days, Obama will be so kind as to return the favor and stop trying to influence Israel's elections.
20. Obama, born Muslim, is biased and pro-his peeps
Joe Fraser ,   Canada   (03.13.14)
21. or maybe Obama snubs AIPAC?
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (03.13.14)
Probably Obama had to attend something more important like the opening of a marijuana clinic or a new same sex school, which is for him more important that the fate of Israel.
22. #3, polar opposite of the truth
Danny   (03.13.14)
Bibi went out of his way not to criticise Obama whereas Obama has actively intervened to try and change Israeli democratic decisions
23. AIPAC = establishment arrogance. Haber's correct.
Rafi ,   US   (03.13.14)
For many of the factors Eitan Haber cites, AIPAC is increasingly divorced from the younger generation of Amer Jews... It is increasingly "a legend in its own mind..." , blindly parroting Bibi/ Likud doctrine.
24. Aipac
nazy ,   LA   (03.13.14)
This was load of crap, I attended Aipac this year as well, and what it says is utter B.S.
25. I'm not Obama's fan ,...
split ,   US   (03.13.14)
But I have to give it to caesar what belongs to caesar, it happen on his watch ,...
26. It's Congress You Dummy
David ,   Montpelier   (03.13.14)
President Obama is a two-term Jimmy Carter. The control is with Congress and in Congress, AIPAC is extremely effective. That is why people like to lash out against it, just as people lash out against the NRA. But like the NRA, AIPAC has a focused strategy that includes Congress. Obama is already a lame duck, and after Iran and Russia spit in his face again, watch how Obama crumbles. How do you think Ronald Reagan got elected? Because Jimmy Carter rendered the United States impotent in the eyes of the American public.
27. Obama's absence due to hatred of Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.13.14)
Haber has been dead wrong about every major issue. He thought it wise to arm terrorists. He is dead wrong yet again. Obama skipped the AIPAC Conference because he hates Israel and has no need to pretend otherwise since he is not facing another election.
28. Good !!! ,...
split ,   US   (03.13.14)
Next step, make them register as foreign lobby and that be the end of this V column - No one will miss it either ,...
29. #28 Don't lose sleep precious
Gary ,   USA   (03.14.14)
AIPAC is stronger than ever.
