1. Move the Knesset to Sderot then
DT ,   TA Israel   (03.13.14)
perhaps action would be taken against gaza and we can have another "parking lot"
2. This will not stop unless our
benjy   (03.13.14)
government acquires the "betzim" like Putin, go and defend your people, ignore the Ashtons etc. The citizens safety is more important than those opinions against Israel. Stop bombing empty building and waste ground, they have long gone from there as they know the stratagy, it has to be in places of surprise. But will this ever end...I dont think so, not when they cry to the world and the world ignores what they do.
3. It is not a coincidence
Anon   (03.13.14)
that dozens of rockets were fired into Israel JUST WHEN the decree by the wicked government was passed. This is clearly Hashgachah Pratit to show the Zionists Who the Boss is.
4. Dan Haluz
David ,   Israel   (03.13.14)
Dan Haluz was dismissed from the army because we trow a ONE ton bomb in Gaza . I suggest to bring it back and trow one hundred bombs of 10 Ton in Gaza .....
5. unfair
(03.13.14)
The people of Tel Aviv demand that Netanyahu give Abbas a state so they can also get rockets.
6. Remember how it started?
Ralph Haglund, PhD. ,   Sweden   (03.13.14)
Sharon/Olmert destroyed the life of 10000 Jews to show the friendliness to Hamas, to give them their own country to govern, so Olmert then should continue with Judea/Samaria with 100.000 Jews placed in a ghetto around Tel Aviv..The leftists are worse. Why is not the government now finishing the problem they started themselves? Or is the idea still to go on doing the same with Judea/Samaria? And by the way, deport Kerry to his best friend Assad. Search for those two among the pictures of Google.
7. Leaders of Israel
David ,   On this planet   (03.13.14)
business as usual . BLAH, BLAH, BLAH
8. #3 is Right.
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (03.13.14)
It is a signal from Above. Now, we should send Mr. Kerry to Gaza to talk nice to the locals. Surely, he will find a way to appease them.
9. Israel must stop the farce called "peace talks" and napalm
A ,   Belgium   (03.13.14)
the Islamic cesspool called Gaza.
10. what historic right in Sderot
observer ,   Egypt   (03.13.14)
On 13 May 1948, Najd was occupied by the Negev Brigade as part of Operation Barak, before Israel was declared a state and before any Arab armies entered Palestine. The villagers were expelled and fled to Gaza. In 1951, the town of Sderot was built on the village's lands. According to UN Resolution 194 and also the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 13, Section 2, the villagers of Najd have a right to return home to their personal property and to their native village.
11. Enemies like these ?
John ,   USA   (03.13.14)
Israel and Hamas are fierce enemies, yet the other day we read about how we trade with each other and supply them with water and electricity! Is this absurd or hypocrisy or what?
12. Miserable filthy squater rabble
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (03.13.14)
Make the lives of your families more and more miserable. Ishmael - He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers
13. btselem shoud shut up
irv   (03.13.14)
btselem should shut up. It is the gaazans who encourage zohar and pass out candies when israeli civilians are slaughtered. israel needs to bring black death to gaza. And if herzog does n't have the stomach for it like meridor and livni, he should go back to his law practise and hide in his officce.
14. How clever
(03.13.14)
that the honourable British Prime Minister visiting and Palestinians thugs showed to all this important man their true colours. Will they give them enclaves to tturned into jihadish launching pad that they hated so much in the west?
15. Coincidence, i think not
Mark ,   bet shemesh   (03.13.14)
This all started the same day as continued Torah learning was defined as a criminal offense. The same day. Not the day before. Not the day after. The same day.
16. #3
R ,   Israel   (03.13.14)
Rockets don't discriminate between secular and haredi.
17. Government to convene meetings........
Ben ,   USA   (03.13.14)
Now is not the time for meetings. It's time to let the military do what must be done. Give the green light to the generals and division commanders to handle this situation at once.
18. #3...it is not coincidence..it is punishment
Ann Thompson ,   Jerusalem   (03.13.14)
for the ultra religious hijacking beit shemesh!!! Those who don't believe Israel is the Jewish state should go and live with their brethren in Gaza
19. #10 Who started the war in 1948? And who lost it?
A ,   Belgium   (03.13.14)
That is Israels "historic right" in Sderot. You start wars that you end up losing? Too bad!
20. #19 correction
(03.13.14)
The Arabs started the war of ethnic cleansing against the Jews in 1920.
21. Not even been reporrted in the British media

22. #8 Reuven how come your not PM
Devorah   (03.13.14)
Maybe instead of John Kerry they should send you as you quite obviously know it all and have an answer for everything. Makes me wonder why you are not PM?
23. Extermination of Hamas is always an option and a good one
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.13.14)
24. Netanyahu summons security cabinet, warns of 'fierce respons
George Weiss ,   Teaneck, USA   (03.13.14)
Peres' comment that IDF is doing all it could" is nonsense. DF is being restraied by people like Peres who let this situation fester for years.I The IDF needs to attack Gaza, cause maximum damage and get out after ridding it of hammas and Islamic Jihad. Also, running to shelters is a bad idea. The population is basically running from the enemy and thereby letting it dictate the terms of engagement.
25. re #10
NIgel ,   London   (03.13.14)
and almost a million Jews were expelled from Arab lands. Amazing how Israel managed to take them in whist the Arab countries left those who left Israel ( for whatever reason) to still be stuck in permanent refugee status. What do the UN say about firing missiles at civilians and what do they say about using human shields ? I feel sorry for people in Gaza, abandoned by the Arab world and left to suffer the consequences of an extremist regime who seem to prefer death to life.
26. #10, by UN, Arab occupiers have no historic right to Egypt
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.13.14)
27. To #3 and #18
Mordechai ,   Israel   (03.13.14)
You two have a lot of experience reading between the lines. It's useless, however, without reading the lines themselves and makes you sound like a crackpot. The Islamic Jihad did this in retaliation for the seized weapons shipment and recent casualties (3 man launch squad). They said that themselves, you see. No omnipotent bearded beings involved.
28. Cut the water, cut the power, cut Hamas!
Eric ,   Herzliya   (03.13.14)
Stop allowing them to have ANY supplies until they surrender.
29. #15 No.
Eli   (03.13.14)
30. Unbelievable Contempt for Life
winston smith ,   tel aviv   (03.13.14)
How many divisions does Hamas have? What is the state of their armed forces? Is their navy fully armed? Israel loves pretending to be at war. The public enjoys the frisson of excitement as unarmed civilians are attacked with deadly modern weapons of war. When will you all open your eyes and feel shame? Or maybe you have no shame. You see nothing wrong in caging over a million people and bombing them like fish in a barrel. What a repulsive, amoral, inhuman set of values are on display here.
