Enough with the cat & mouse game. Israel should punish Gaza in a way that will not be soon forgotten. That is the only language the barbarians of the "religion of peace" understand. To them, negotiations are a sign of weakness.

at Israel--20 bombs-mortors--whatever must be thrown back--there is no cease fire agreement in place only a lull in the action. No troops on the ground, just air and cannon fire until they cry "uncle"
6. Israel: No Gaza truce deal, calm will be met with calm

May I present a scenario in the response that would be expected in the event of ongoing and persistent rocket fire into the US from Cuba or should the UK experience a deluge of rocket fire from the RPI, or the Russian Federation a barrage of artillery shells from the Ukraine. the answer is already known, even from the anemic Obama, the equally insipid Cameron of the UK but with the usual guaranteed action from the Putin bully. Yet what does the Israeli administration do? It inflicts for years the terror upon its own citizens of totally inadequate response to the indiscriminate terror from Gaza. Even the generally antipathy shown to Israel by many countries, not one of them would be surprised at the removal of Hamas/ Gaza from the map....Let it be so.
7. Does IDF get Strategy 101? Don't play the other guy's game!
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (03.13.14)
The IDF in dealing with Gaza seems to have forgotten the difference between "tactics" and "strategy". The Arab strategy [not just Gazastan's] is to destroy Israel by "all means". The tactics for this is to slowly, methodically batter Israel over time with terrorism, rocket attacks, and to methodically demonize and deligitimize it with relentless propaganda and Big Lie "apartheid", while hiding behind phony "lulls, hudnas and "peace processes", eventually stripping Israel of the will and means to resist, so it can be defeated with the masses of arms the Arabs are accumulating. The IDF's strategy to deal with Gaza is "the peace process", and the tactics are to go along with lulls, hudnas and tit-for-tat pinpricks strikes. This is "playing the other guy's game", with no real strategy or even tactics. This is a recipe for failure in every single military tract on stategy that has ever been written, going back to Sun Tsu's "The Art of War". Imagine what even the wimp Obama would do if Cuba ever fired 60 rockets into Miami [or even Key West!]. Imagine Obama's and EU's hysterical response if Putin fired 60 katyusha rockets into Ukraine!!. Imagine what Ben Gurion would have done if Gaza fired 60 katyusha rockets into Ashkelon and Ashdod in the 50's, because he invaded Sinai in 1956 over a lot less. There is no "peace process" worthy of the name with the PLO and the Arab League now rejecting any recognition of a Jewish State, and there is no better way for Obama and the EU to look like complete morons for denouncing Israeli hammering of Gaza to a pulp over its rocket attacks while they sit with hands folded while Putin dismantles peaceful neighbor Ukraine. Obama's redlines, promises and threats are all worthless, no there is no reason to fear a US response for smashing Gaza - Congress will block him. Now is the time!!
8. How does Gaza even have access to the Internet?
Cowboy Joe ,   Calgary, Canada   (03.13.14)
Shut such access down.
9. Israeli government -no spine
RayS ,   NH USA   (03.13.14)
What other government in the world releases terrorists in wholesale lots and accepts rocket attacks with worthless response. It has become the #1 enabler of terror regimes ,has lost credibility and honor.

As far as you are concerned black is white and white is black. One day you may be coherent in your thinking to realise that it is not a question of what came first, the chicken or the egg. The facts are that your Arab/Islamic compatriots in general do not know the difference between the endemic terrorism perpetrated by Hamas, Hezbollah against Israel and when justifiable retaliation is meted out to those retards then what do you come out with? the usual back to front analysis that makes you and your kind a laughing stock. One day in a millenia you may wake up and acknowledge the facts.....and then perhaps more likely you will not.

You wrote a great article, but is it possible that the Pals will tire? Why can't the Jews continue the fight and prevail?I've written many times that I really don't think the Pals really want a state right now. They are not ready to govern themselves. If you'll look around the neighborhood you'll see what I mean.By causing a stink they get free-bees, the old guys keep their jobs--the poor stay poor all because of Israel. What do you think Doc? I'll give you the last word (O'reilly)
