Let me imagine this settler saying "the whole country is mine" on Shenkin Street in Tel Aviv. Not even in Bnei Brak would he say his crap. But in Hebron settlers feel empowered by the compromising treatment from IDF and Israeli government. We do not see in the video that the settler was arrested for trespassing onto private property. View in the video the secular IDF soldiers engaged in handling this arrogant settler who is probably refusing to protect Israel legally within the ranks of IDF.

I love Israel and believe in a state for the Jewish people. BUT this settler was trespassing on another mans house .. He should be arrested for this. Plus the army whom I ,should not have harrassed the owner of the house ,rather they should have removed the settler nd handed him over to the police.. Shalom and Peace ..

Watch the video, watch what the soldier politely tells the homeowner. He makes it very clear that flags are illegal here. This does not sound like anything new.

Three things stick out here: (1) The article and the video don't match. The article says that there was no good reason for the man to try to remove the flag, YET the soldier says there is a standing law that forbids it. Also, where are these Israelis flags they spoke of? (2) However, if the article is actually true, the Israeli was wrong (and stupid). Let the Arab fly the flag. Sheesh. (3). Why such a significantly edited video? If B'Tselem is so sure of their cause and what occurred here, why not use raw video? Notice how they edited out everything except for how they wanted to frame the situation. They cut when the Arabs are doing wrong (fighting soldier, etc.)
