Rhonda ,   Chicago, usa   (03.14.14)
These people are insane. A full investigation of what happened is completely reasonable. But even IF the IDF made an error of some kind leading to the person's death- and I am NOT saying they did- for that these people want to dismantle a peace treaty and remove an ambassador? Undo a peace treaty that impacts the greater welfare of both the Jordanian people and the Israeli people? And then of course the reference to the Jews which is completely anti Semetic. There are some actors afoot here that are the usual players in stirring hatred, chaos and anarchy. I hope wiser minds will prevail...
4. Cancel peace treaty
Guido ,   Milano Italy   (03.14.14)
Fine. How stupid fanatism could be at the end of the rope. The peace treaty was an advantage for Jordan as well (if not mostly). As a consequence Israel accepted to cut the burden on Jordan by two, freeing it from half of its (legitimate although hostile) population. Creating for itself a monster, two problems instead of one. Jordan, it's your choice, cancel the peace treaty and the rules of the game will have to change, no more two entities but a single one, Jordan is Plalestine.
5. Pal State
Ron ,   oc us   (03.14.14)
Jordan has several thousand refugees from Syria and no protests. 1 dead Pal from Jordan and the Brotherhood goes nuts. Jordan is a Pal state.
6. The King's days are numbered.
David ,   Hartford USA   (03.14.14)
The King isn't afraid of Israel, he's terrified of the psychopathic Muslim Brotherhood. Outlawed the world over, the king had better remove the MB any way he can before they remove him. If he has any sense, he'll follow Egypt's lead. If he doesn't, Jordan is lost and Israel has a very ugly border. Advice to the King: arrest anyone who belongs or supports the MB, otherwise, you are history and so is your family. Don't cozy up to these thugs, they are poison.
7. They'll get over it
arne ,   chicago usa   (03.14.14)
in time. These things happen and then they cool down. Israel and Jordan both need one another.
8. Damn they do us a favor, don't they?

9. This is what happened ladies and gentlemen.
Mel Salem ,   Jerusalem   (03.14.14)
IDF confirmed Wednesday morning that there would be a military investigation. "After the initial inquiry about the incident which included a questioning of dozens of witnesses by the police and Shin Bet, the conclusions arise the suspect clearly ran towards the soldier screaming 'Allahu Akbar' and trying to snatch the soldier's weapon."
10. Thirsty
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.14.14)
Someone should remind them that ending the treaty would mean the end of the 50 million cubic meters of water that Israel supplies annually to Jordan in accordance with the treaty.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.14.14)
The only use that Jordan serves is as a reception point for all the Jordanian citizens Israel is about to repatriate. Perhaps they ought to think twice before burning an Israeli flag. Israel can -- and will -- wreak a considerable vengeance.
12. Lol Sarah... The dreaming girl
(03.15.14)
You've been talking about Israel repatriating Palestinians to Jordan for years now.... And I don't see anything close to it!
13. Jordan needs Israeli recognition
Conroy ,   Toronto   (03.15.14)
It's an old story, Jordan desperately needs Israeli recognition as the Kingdom of Jordan - and not as "Palestine". The royal rulers in Jordan has always been fearful of those Israelis who say "Jordan is Palestine" lest the Palestinian majority in Jordan rise up and say "you know, they are right! Jordan IS Palestine (or at least part of it). Let's get rid of the King and take what's ours!". Why do you think Jordan signed the peace treaty with Israel in the first place?
14. Hashemite Warriors will not go
Zechariah   (03.15.14)
The Hashemite warriors will not go so Forget Jordan is Palestine .Want a Islamic jihadi state in Jordan .Improve the Status quo economically and innovate and innovate in massive security Readiness.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.15.14)
Abbas has ended the futile so-called "negotiations." Do you really think that Israel will continue to allow the current situation to continue indefinitely? Moreover, Israel is not in the least bit interested in creating what you have in Gaza in Judea and Samaria. Neither will Israel displace 500,000 Israelis who live in Judea and Samaria or extend Israeli citizenship to 2.5 million hostile Arabs. Those Arabs happen to be Jordanian citizens; they are not stateless. The Arabs started six wars; six wars in which Israel emerged victorious. The victor gets to write the rules. Haven't you heard? Finally -- if you don't "see anything close to it," I very strongly suggest that you look into the number of housing starts in Judea and Samaria, and the rapidity with which housing units are sold. That's a pretty good harbinger of what is to come.
